    DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING!!!
    If there was a way to post negative five stars I would do so in a heartbeat. This once grand building has become a sess pool of mold, filth, and disrepair.
    The walls are paper thin so you can smell all the cigarette and pot smoke that your neighbor decides to smoke whether you want to or not. The trash room is constantly backed up and the trash will pile up to the ceiling at times. So your hallways are a mixture of cigarette smoke, pot smoke, and trash juice. Pet urine in the elevators left uncleaned. The rooftop is in a total disrepair and you can't even use a grill because they have been left on and drained of propane. Nothing that they promote as a feature of the building works and the pictures on the website are a GROSS MISREPRESENTATION!!! We never could get the management to address the problems in our loft and denied the existance of mold even though they were presented with proof. They flat out DO NOT CARE!!! And if you are market rate like we were you might as well take a back seat to the rest of the building.

    i searched many buildings and found that merchandise mart met my needs. I truly was thrilled with the first floor space, I renewed for 4 years and would still be leasing there if not for some unfortunate roommate events. The noise and neighbor issues were some of the continuing problems. As the years past there was a downward spiral, stolen, missing computers, entertainment room inaccessible, sauna not working for many years, the mail issues, my rent being stolen from the rent box.
