      The property management and parent company (Monarch out of Colorado) are deceitful and crooked. They will terminate your lease at will and with no explanation anytime they see fit. Its all about making as much money as possible for Southpointe and their sister properties, they never upgrade their units but constantly raise the rent. Dont be fooled they do not care about their tenants!

      Since the acquisition by the new company in 2016 or 2017, this place has gotten worse with time. The leasing office is always disorganized and they lack basic customer service skills. They're unbelievably rude and dismissive about any questions or requests. The buildings and the appliances aren't maintained any longer. The AC hasn't worked for a few summers since Monarch took over the management but they 'fixed' it last fall so we'll see what happens this time around. The dryer in the apartment hasn't worked correctly for years - it looks like it's from 1980 or older. The community used to be quiet and clean but that's not the case now. The dumpsters are in the parking lot just steps from the buildings but there's trash left outside of the apartments for days at a time. I am looking at other options. I can't wait to move out of this apartment that I've called home for several years.

      Overall, good experience. Quiet apartment, enjoyed the location. Loved the big bathroom, washer/dryer, and layout of the 2-bedroom. Only had a couple minor issues- mice in my kitchen, problems with the a/c, and there was quite a bit of construction going on so there was an outhouse parked directly outside my bedroom window for several weeks. My biggest issue, however, was when my ex used Southpointe as a reference and they said we paid rent late when we did NOT One single time.

      During the time my husband and I stayed there we were both sick from the mold growing up the wall in the utility closet. The oven did not work when we moved in and it took a week before anyone came to look at it. The refrigerator did not keep the groceries cold. We rented the apartment between our house selling and us moving to another town for the military, only a couple of months but if we would have had any idea of what we were in for, the lease never would have been signed.
