Appliances, paint & carpet are fair to below average; appliances, cabinets, brass fixtures, and linoleum are original (20+ years old) and should have been replaced once or twice by now. Staff are friendly. Maintenance is average- not great, not amazing. The grounds are very well kept and the complex is in a good location. I am pleased to see some updates around the complex like the new gym and updated furniture in common areas. I wish they would update units while residents occupy them.

There are several things that make The Colony at Williamsburg apartments the best complex we have ever lived in. The buildings and grounds are very well maintained and there is ample room to walk your dogs. Receptacles including bags for dog waste are conveniently placed throughout the complex. Our building was very quiet and the neighbors were wonderful. The apartment we rent could very well be listed as handicap accessible as the doors are wide and the bathrooms are very spacious.

I lived here once before and moved back in over 2 years ago. The office staff made this place second to none and I've truely enjoyed living here.

The location is great! The apartment is roomy and nice.

The Colony has a great staff. The facilities are always clean, and the team has made good investments in bringing new amenities (like a new workout facility) to the property.

I enjoy it here. I have a quiet, clean location and friendly staff who responds as soon as possible when I need something checked or serviced. I'd rate it excellent, but I'm not a fan of the new policy allowing dogs. And I'm a dog lover. I just don't like dozens of them around all the time.
