When I started living in this "dog friendly" community, it was just that. The people were great, the dog park and the buildings were kept up nicely, and it was a great place to live. Then a few things happened. They started DNA testing dog poop, which fine whatever, fine people who are lazy dog owners. HOWEVER the fines are astronomical. First offense is $150 and third offense is eviction. This winter, several dog owners were all fined on the exact same day, which is extremely suspicious, and they were the owners who have lived here the longest and the ones who watch their dogs very carefully. With such a strict policy you'd think they'd make it easy on dog owners to follow this policy, right? Wrong. This spring and summer have been awful to have a dog. The trashcan in the dog park, and another trashcan in the square have been overflowing on two different occasions, and a tenant had to call before the bag was changed. The bag stations are out of bags more often then not, and when they "mow" the grass in the dog park, they do not move furniture in there, which leaves huge long spots. I wouldnt even call it mowing, either, the grass is mulched and is mowed with the blade so high, you cant even see the lines where they mowed. The grass in the dog park is ankle deep at all times and its poorly lit making finding poop in the morning or at night nearly impossible. The gutters have not been cleaned in God knows how long, causing an apartment on the ground floor to flood because the water was not being directed anywhere with the gutters overflowing. The trees need trimmed very badly, there was a limb last week that fell because it was hanging over the street and it hit the roof of a car. The apartments themselves are nice, the pool is great, but there are definitely some changes that should be made. If I didnt have a dog I would rate this place a 5. But after this spring and summer I'd give it a 3 at the absolute most

Here is my experience. (1) Flea problem : They denied and refused to handle the flea problem, until I got several bits and caught an alive flea in my apartment. (2) Flies problem : Every May August, the flies from the garbage dumpster sneaked into my apartment. I believe they sneaked into others apartments, too. I killed 5 flies per day, average. After I had a baby, the fly problem really drove me crazy. The apartment office tried to kill the flies by pesticide. However, the flies were reborn after 5 days, because there is a garbage dumpster nearby. (3) The apartment office refused Inspection together. They didnt allow an appointment with the office to inspect my apartment with me together before/after I surrendered my apartment keys. The problem happened. After their Inspection without me, the apartment office said I broke Kitchen Sink, Countertops, and Vinyl on the bathroom and charged me $493.91. I still don't know How could a stainless-steel Kitchen Sink be damaged? Broken? Out of shape? Also, the countertops were definitely not broken. The truth is that the office already wanna upgrade an old-style interior decorating for the next higher rental. They already assigned a staff to measure the size of my countertops one month before the end of leasing. I believe they said I broke the countertops and sink is an excuse to make me share their cost. They used cheap vinyl on the bathroom floor. After using, the vinyl floor was peeling. This should be normal wear-and-tear, but they said You broke vinyl floor. I asked them to provide pictures about the broken Sink, Countertops, and Vinyl, but they have not provided any evidence.Because the office didnt allow inspecting together, I totally became a ATM and they withdraw the unlimited money from me. $493.91 is a lot of money for my baby. Now, its all gone. I hope you wouldnt be the next ATM. Enjoy the flies by the way.

Spring Tree is a nice apartment complex, which has many advantages such as the location, gated parking area, laundry facilities inside the rooms, and the price.

I'm only the guarantor of the lease for my daughter. Application fees are unfair, especially because we had to pay twice but we were promised a refund for the part I paid. We have not seen that yet. Also, rent is very high but that's the market. I'm glad that Spring Tree is gated for her safety.
