    I have lived here over 2 years and love it. The staff is friendly and helpful. I feel safe with the secured entrance and love living so close to the lake. The environment is quiet which is important to me. I have only needed maintenance once and they fixed the issue within a reasonable amount of time. The gym has good equipment and is well kept. Nice place to live.

    Management are a bunch of liars and thieves. I paid what I was told to be a pet deposit and when i moved out they charged me a $225 fee for a pet urine kit when my cat never peed on the carpet. I lived with that cat you would think i would know if she peed on the carpet.

    Moved in 01/30/2016 Day 1 plumbing issues, upper floor suds backing up in our sink, and loud gurgling in pipes, following 3 attempts to fix suds protector installed, loud gurgling continued through out stay. Move in check list was never addressed. Too lengthy to list. Spring 2016 battled ants, mtce out multiple times no help, got recommendation s from ace hardware, purchased what was needed to solve problem. Started packing 3 mos before lease was up. Lease ended was never contacted to renew, just continued paying as usual. Found another apt, gave 30 written notice on 10/31/2017and requested a walk through on 11/30/2017. Next morning on 11/01/2017 at my door to do a walker through, which took all of 30 seconds ( for real) my daughter and husband was there. A list was left of things we needed to do before moving, normal stuff. This was our 3rd apt in as many years so we knew the routine. Seniors still searching for the right apt.after living in our own homes for over 30yrs. Turned keys in on 11/30/2017 was told to expect our deposit less the final utility bill in 30 days. Ended up getting a bill in the amount of $1,361.21 " supposedly " smoke damage. I am an occasional smoker, on patio or garage. Numerous people can attest to that. Never have we been charged with damage of any type to any apartment and have always gotten full deposit back. At this point it's not even about the deposit, it's about people trying to take advantage of others for what ever reasons. I've requested a meeting with the owners and have also talked with the legal aid society. We're not paying these bogus charges and theirs no way we will sit still and have this affect our credit rating. Wonder how many others this has happened to, pretty sure we're not the only one's

    From my first visit, through my almost 6 months of living here, everyone on staff has been more than friendly and helpful. I have a VERY spacious 1 bedroom that almost feels like a ranch home. Ample storage, quiet surroundings, an efficient floorplan with plenty of room for guests. I have enjoyed the pool and the gym as well. Top of the line!!

    Well maintained grounds, maintenance guys are excellent, attached garages, no dogs, I like children but not where I live, close to shopping and Standing Bear Lake.
