Mariposa Flats

My elderly parents have lived here for nearly 6 years. They started in a 1 bedroom and upgraded to a 2 bedroom so they can have guest stay over and a walk in shower. The grounds are well maintained, the appliances have been updated and the maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. They love being close to The Wash and Green Valley Ranch. They live on the first floor and although their neighbors have come and gone, it is always quiet and they feel safe there. By far this was the nicest place I found in Henderson for the price range. Highly recommended.

Staff very welcoming. Friendly and warm community. Maintenance staff were very prompt in repairing the minor issues in our unit after our move in. I'm happy with choosing Players Club Apartment homes our new home.

I was a former resident of Players Club, and Im so glad to be gone. The grounds were fine, but a few months into living there I encountered a huge cockroach infestation that took over the entire building I was in. Apparently a tenant from a neighboring apartment had been living in squalor, and it took several months before they were evicted. The office brought in pest control to bug bomb the unit, but didnt tell anyone else about it, so I was treated to a week and a half of dozens of cockroaches coming into my unit to die. There were hundreds of them in the time it took for the office to act on it. They came in mostly through the bathroom, so I couldnt use the shower for well over a week.When I called to let them know, initially they took my information, but did not return my call for two days. When I followed up, they said they would call pest control to have my apartment looked at, but didnt call them so no appointment was made. When I asked when to expect them, they said initially they couldnt help because the pest control company only comes on one day a week. They knew exactly what building I was in as it was clearly a big story in the office, but didnt inform me or my neighbors of any problem. When I complained to the office manager, she said there was simply nothing they could do for me to fix the problem. I basically had to force her to call a pest control company to take care of it. I asked for a discount on a months rent for the inconvenience, and they once again could do nothing for me. I understand this is a one-off situation, but the staff is incompetent and even without an army of cockroaches in your apartment the grounds are vastly overpriced. I would recommend not only steering clear of this complex, but also its sister complexes owned by the same parent company. They have a series of apartment complexes in Las Vegas/Henderson and I worry this kind of office behavior comes from their corporate culture.

Not very helpful when I suffer a theft in the apartment

There has been some concern about robberies. The apartment across from us has been broken into twice, which makes my husband and I very nervous about our safety and belongings. When we addressed our concerns to the office staff, they did offer to place reinforced locks on all the windows as well as place a bar in the sliding glass door. But they have offered no reinforcements for the front door, which the other apartment had their front door crow barred open twice.
