My roommate and I moved in about a year ago and recently broke lease due to medical debts. During our time here we had problems with flooding from the upstairs apartment flowing down to ours, bugs, mold, pieces of the apartment breaking, and maintenance that more often than not just didnt ever show up for repairs. The front desk was rarely helpful, and often not in the front office. The women have some of the worst attitudes Ive ever had to deal with in a Front office staff. They act put out at any request and have a poor attitude when confronted with a complaint. Most recently, we found that the amount we were quoted by one front desk woman to break our lease will not be honored because she did not run it passed the Front office manager, Dana. Dana, as he turns out, has a lot of complaints against her for overcharging and dishonesty. So not only have they been condescending and rude about the matter, theyve refused to give any leeway about it. So both of us feel like weve been lied to, and the apartment is just trying to squeeze as much money as they can.Avoid this place at all costs. Its a scam.

Let me share my experience with renting from Montecito Pointe Apartments...my son and a roommate we're in college so I co-signed for them. They rented for a year and when they vacated, evidently there was a balance on their account that the security deposit didn't cover. Nearly TWO YEARS passed, and we all received letters from National Credit Systems stating that we owed money and it was going to be reported to all three major credit bureaus if we didn't pay. Long story short, I contacted the apartment management team and got the runaround ("I wasn't here two years ago so I can't help you.") There was ZERO documentation that anyone had ever attempted to contact us! I never got a phone call, email, or letter in the mail! Had we received that and been informed of the outstanding balance, this would have been taken care of immediately.Now I have to rely on some third party, out of state business and trust that this will not be reported as bad debt. If you rent from them, please beware!

Christina made all my business affairs with this property Simple and sweet. Not only was she gracious to me but to every tenant she encountered during my experience. The staff was supportive to me and each other. Great customer service !

Just moved in. The process was smooth and easy, Christina is the best. Super pleased with our apartment and the community. Look forward to years here at Montecito Pointe.

Had a viewing here the lady is very weird and rude. African American woman. Very weird vibes also tried to tell me “it’s going fast” that’s how they get you lol. The apartment and area looked great but does not seem kid friendly.

It's been about 3 weeks since moving in and I'm very happy with living here thus far. Christina is an amazing leasing agent and PM to have. She's very professional, incredibly friendly and very helpful. She was a large reason why we rented here. As for the property itself, my apartment was completely cleaned with everything working upon move in. Application and move in process was quick and easy. I love the pool and hot tub and overall amenities. They also have a trash service ($30 extra/month) which I personally like. Just leave your garbage bag outside your front door and someone will pick it up once a week. There's also lots of dogs and some cats in the complex which I also enjoy. Very satisfied with moving in.

Over a decade ago I lived at this complex for a few years and I had a great experience with the property management team. Recently, I returned to the area and I moved back into the complex. While some of the facades have faded, the overall experience is still just as positive as before. The office staff has changed, and Christina has brought new life and a strong sense of family to the property. Her colleagues are amazing, stepping in whenever necessary. I'm very grateful to live in this complex and I look forward to more community events.
