One family-fun attraction near Salem is Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park located on serene Canobie Lake. Complete with roller coasters, carousels, a wet and wild water park and a fantastic Center for the Performing Arts that features arts, dance, music and theater, there are plenty of ways to have fun in Salem at this attraction.
Other attractions in the area include the more than 100-year-old Rockingham Speedway, featuring thoroughbred and greyhound races. Another popular place is America's Stonehenge, considered one of the country's first astronomically aligned calendars.
