    Misleading information from leasing agent. Was showed an apartment that ended up not being available because tenant decided to renew lease. I decided not to persue the application and was told I could expect my $200 "holding fee" back within 10 days. 10 days came and went and no money. After multiple calls and emails with no responses, I FINALLY got someone on the phone only to be told "somebody will get back to you". (Never did) Today I got an email stating I would NOT be getting my $200 back since I decided not to complete the application. THE APARTMENT WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE !! Poor management. Wish that I had read all the horrific reviews BEFORE I went there. Lesson learned.

    I can not stress enough to stay away from this place. Heat and H/W are not included in any unit. The windows and doors are outdated. These are the Originals from 1984. You can not maintain heat in the winter or cool in the summer. You can actually feel bad drafts coming through. Some tenants have had snow coming in through the closed windows. All the pictures you see in the advertisements are photo shopped. None of the apt's look like they advertise. The "upgraded" units, in the bathroom the tiles are just spray glazed for the initial look. After a few weeks of use they start to peal and look like the same junk that was here before. They have on call maintenance but none of them are qualified to actually fix anything except unclog a drain. You get mold in the bathroom, they'll come out and just paint over it. The insulation between upstairs and downstairs apt's is non existent. You can hear almost everything. The office staff is generally friendly but their hands are tied so nothing gets done. Dog waste baskets around the complex are never emptied so people just pile dog poop bags around the can. My rent has gone up at least $50 a year for 3 years and if anything the complex has gotten worse. During the fall, the landscapers just chop up large piles of leaves and leave them on the grass thus leaving large dead spots everywhere. The main loop in the complex looks good to entice people to rent here. Don't be fooled. With all the fee's I end up paying $1600 for a 1 BR and 1 dog. Advertised prices are for just the base rent with none of the amenity fee's or any other misc fee's they can come up with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP.

    from the reviews I am reading, i believe you should include some utilities in the price, ex water/gas/heat...tenants should only be responsible for electric. Maintenance staff need to be more prompt or active with their job not everyone is handy especially if its a female living there. 99.9% of apartments have free garbage disposal..who pay to dispose of garbage? all upper floors should be carpeted since the walls/floors are paper thin. these apartments are beautiful and if you could make some changes you would not have so many available apartments. i'm sure you are loosing on rents. I like the idea there are garages and washer/dryer in the units but the reviews are terrible. Helpful hints!!!!!

    I used to live there and went back and they werent very helpful at all. Have to go through so much just to get in there now....they act as if its a prestige place now and its not that great....

    We recently went for a tour of the "modernized" "updated" "washer and dryer included" apartments that are advertised for this establishment. Renters beware! They wanted us to pay a crazy rent price for what they showed us. The apartment that was shown to us was NOT even close to updated and was in a location where you could see that none of the surrounding buildings where upgraded either. The apartment that they wanted us to have also had NO washer and dryer in our building, meaning we would have to walk to another building to use their coin laundry machine. The building was also located far from any of the parks, pool ect... The prices that are posted here are marketed at a much cheaper price than what they actually have in place. When we got down to the part about extra fees the rent would be around $400 more then what their asking rent in person was going to be not including the utilities that you are responsible for. The only reason I did not give 1 star was because they had good customer service.

    Best value in area. PET FRIENDLY..Not stuffy which is important to us. Nicely renovated units with SS appliances which are only builder grade but nice n new. Fresh new light airy cabinets and sinks in kitchen and bath. Def could use better quality paint throughout as after 8 plus months there is bleed through of prior stains showing through the flat cheap paint. Faux hardwood floors. The only thing the reno is lacking is they should put in new tubs as there have been issues with the painted over tubs with chipping as well as plumbing issues. Being cheap is expensive with service calls on tub issues they would be better replacing tubs in the reno units. Beautiful landscape and pool but not heated. Pool very important to us but wish it was heated. The only negative is walls and floors are thin so if u are unlucky to have noisy neighbors above or below u noise will be issue. We somewhat stress over trying to be quiet for that reason. Overall nice place for the $$ in this high rate rental area of Morris county.
