Eagle Rock Apartments At Carle Place

My husband and I have been living at this complex for about 7 years now. Initially we had no complaints, no issues, but over the years its wear, tear and lack of upkeep has started to show. In the past couple of months almost 6 of our neighbors have moved out and shared the same sentiments we do. I dont understand why Eagle Rock feels the need to decorate the outside of their building when the inside needs soo much work. Theres almost zero air circulation in the apartments so we need the AC on quite often and both our ACs work so poorly, sometimes not at all. We rent a two bedroom apartment and for some reason Eagle Rock doesnt think the second bedroom needs an AC unit which makes the second room unlivable in, which unfortunately in our case is our two year olds room. Her room in the summer reaches up to 100 degrees so we cant even use it for half the year. Along with the AC unit being problematic, the heating system is so off. I wouldnt even call it a system, my husband has to use PLIERS to turn the heat on and then we just have to guess how high/low the heat is. Service requests take weeks to get responses to. If you rent a downstairs apartment you can hear literally every step your upstairs neighbors take. Every couple of weeks I see a pest control van in the complex, luckily we didnt have too many problems with pests but the fact that we see the van so often means other apartments do. Also the laundry room is appalling. It is so incredibly dirty, the floors the walls, the washing machines, its just so smelly and dirty. Again, these issues probably exist in other apartment complexes but the fact that we pay almost $3,000 and the company spends all their time decorating the building is poor management. Anyways, I wouldnt recommend this complex to new renters. Only based off what you get for how much the rent is. Its just not worth in my opinion.

This is the worst company ever we are now gonna go into allegation they forge documents they keep your security they do not even give you the time of day and discuss any matters at hand I would never rent from them I will Post this message every day Find an alternative never rent from this company you will make it the biggest mistake and deal With letigation

A man with a pitbull that lives at the complex makes the experience extremely uncomfortable.. never has the dog on the leash and has been seen hitting the dog. Also, screams at people in the complex and around town.

TURN AROUND AND RUN. I would never rent with Eagle Rock again. My floor had gaps, roaches from the day I walked in, air conditioner was not installed for 4 months, when it was installed, it didn't work. The heat was on 24/7 causing us to blast the bedroom air conditioning during a heat wave resulting in 4 separate $400 electric bills. I called Dara in the front 22 times for every one time I received a call or email back. The apartment was poorly cleaned from the previous tenants, with paint chipping and shavings from the walls all over the floor for some reason. It took four months to get a mail key. Four months of weekly calls and emails and only once the post office sent them notice to clean out the overflowing mailbox did they provide a key. The exterior is a major eye sore, the laundry rooms never had all the machines functioning with washer or dryer or both broken the entire year I lived there. Rarely anyone at the front desk helping anyone. My security deposit was withheld 3 days past the limit and I was told I'd have to wait another 3 weeks just to have my check mailed and had to get an attorney, when they finally sent it, they mailed it to the wrong address. On about 5 separate occasions we were sent maintenance who said they can't repair the holes, the bugs, or the heat, and the exterminator has to fix those issues. When the exterminator arrived, he said maintenance had to do it. One day they both showed up, and left together within five minutes without fixing the issue. Avoid this place. Save your money. There is an alley across the street you could shelter in that has fewer bugs, nicer neighbors and best of all Dara and Rosanne aren't there. Eagle Rock puts pests in your home, and tells you to call the pests at the front desk for assistance. Emails to back up every last thing I wrote here. Eagle Rock will be the worst experience of your life, all for the low, low price of $2500+/ montb for 600 square feet. What a joke.

The apartment I saw was very nice. Main entrance and hallways of each building are dated but apartments themselves are very nice. Outside is clean neat and tighty
