Farmingville is located in southern New York in the central region of Long Island. The town is in Suffolk County, approximately 11 miles east of Brentwood and 50 miles east of bustling New York City. Farmingville is a hamlet in the town of Brookhaven and is considered part of the Nassau-Suffolk metropolitan area.
