Avalon Peaks

I lived at Avalon Peaks for three years and recently had to relocate for work. I loved living at Avalon Peaks! The office and maintenance staff are so helpful and professional. The grounds and amenities are well kept and the pool is fantastic. I will definitely rent again from Avalon Peaks if I move back to NC.

I cant say enough good things about living at Avalon Peaks. Today we had the most awesome time at the pool party they held. There was a DJ a Great Emcee and Food that they provided along with a raffle. We got to meet several residents for the first time and saw several we already know. There are so many community events and get togethers that Letitia and Emmy set up for us all; they are the best! Thank you Letitia, Emmy and Avalon Peaks for a wonderful fun day! Cindy & Fred

Well weve lived here since October of this year and in the short time we are here Ive never seen a better sense of community as we have here. Latisha & Emmy are there for us residents 100%. The Community here has events and special celebrations that are inviting and fun, all facilitated by Latisha & Emmy who are incredible . Maintenance here is a phone call away and they take care of most issues almost immediately. If they cant get to it right away, they give you a timeline when they can. The staff also keep us informed of yearly maintenance as well as any safety concern that may arise. The grounds are beautiful and the complex is very walkable for taking your dog on a stroll. We have met many of the residents and like anll that we have met. We are so very happy we picked Avalon Peaks as our home.

This is not just a rental, it's a neighborhood, good people live here.

I have lived here for three years and I absolutely love it! Its quiet, friendly management and neighbors! I love the screened in patios as well!

Maintenance came same day when I asked for help hooking up my washer. Great service!

Steer clear if you have any pets !!!!!!!!!!! Our experience with Avalon was very disappointing. We truly used to love this community. We lived here for over a year and a half with our ESA - a 5 year old dog lab mix who has been well trained his whole life, even being in canine good citizen training, and NEVER had any accidents. Upon moving out, management waited until AFTER someone new moved in to send out a letter stating that there was "damage" to carpet and the carpet pad due to pet urine. The 2 spots they found were under where our large sectional and king size bed were placed since move- in. According to Avalon they detected "pet urine" and claimed those spots to be damage from my very large dog who under no circumstance could even fit under either of those pieces of furniture to leave such a mess, nor would urinate in the home to begin with. They decided to charge us over $1,000 for replacement of this carpet. We were told upon move-in that they replace the carpets no matter what, apparently we were told incorrect information being as they charged us for the remainder of the "carpets life" which they deemed to be about 4 more years worth!!!!! It has come to my attention from other previous tenants that if you have a pet they will try to come at you with fees for damages no matter what. We tried to fight this and in the end decided it was no longer worth our time or energy. We know that these were not damages caused by our pet/ESA and stand firmly on that. Upon move out we saw no stain and smelled nothing. According to Avalon and their lawyer the smell was "Dreadful and pervasive." You would imagine that someone in the time we lived there and were moving out would have noticed the smell or mentioned it. Saying that it smelled that way is a flat lie, I had multiple friends and my family in & out of the apartment during moving out and even whilst completely empty there was NO smell. Prior to this we lived at other complexes in the area in Cary and Apex and never once had any issues with carpet damages, or damages of any sort with the same dog. Very unfortunate to have had this experience... but worth sharing so others can avoid this complex!

I just want to commend both Emanuel and Freddy for their competence in how they handled some recent issues in my apartment. In my opinion they are very good representatives for Avalon Peaks.

Quiet, safe community. All the staff are great and polite. Any issues that occur get looked at promptly by maintenance.
