          An update after living here 7 months. Still very pleased with The District. Our unit suits us perfectly. The view and the location is wonderful. The maintenance guys are great and really responsive. The only sour note is we have a neighbor below us who apparently never lived in an apartment before. He has complained about us having a bird feeder, which we immediately removed. He then complained about water dripping down when we water the plants on our balcony. We immediately rearranged them to try to minimize that. The latest is we were shaking a blanket out and he complained to management that some dog hair drifted down on him while he was sunning. Seriously? I truly wished the management here had the hutspah to tell this guy his complaints are ridiculous and not feel it was necessary to relay his ridiculously whiny complaints to us. Perhaps he would be happier in a house out in the country all by himself.

          After 2 months we are loving life at The District. The apartments have superior floor plans and finishes. Once the complex is totally complete, the amenities should be great. The location is The Best. We love being able to get anywhere quickly and we love being this close to Biltmore Village. As in any apartment complex, you can occasionally hear your neighbors. It is not so loud or so frequent that it becomes annoying. It is the nature of apartment living. Our unit faces Fairview Rd and we have never been bothered by road noise. Our view is spectacular. Finally, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. We are looking forward to years of enjoying life here at The District.
