      Update: Can’t wait to leave. Park side living is noisy all the time from 7am -11pm or later every day. Parking garage is a nightmare. Walker cheaped out on cabinets, noise proof windows, getting pool heated, you can hear barking dogs through your pipes/utility closets, and cleaning windows after park construction never happened as promised! Lip service but no follow through. The neighbors are lovely though, they’re what make it. We love The Walker location and staff! There are so many details and touches throughout that just make this really easy, enjoyable living! It’s very cool to have a Birds Eye view of the park coming together!

      I recently submitted a list of minor repairs and am happy to say that, as usual, they were all fixed expertly and promptly by the Walker's maintenance team. One of the reasons that I love living at the Walker after being a homeowner for many decades is that I don't have to worry about fixing and maintaining my living space. What a relief.

      UPDATE: Received my check after 57 days, with a “thank you for your patience” note. ****Here’s the kicker: in another envelope was a “late fee” notice for renter’s insurance, which I have submitted 3x (see email attached on April 13th). They almost did the right thing … but couldn’t pull it off. So disappointing! The generic/AI response (below) doesn’t help the situation and “customer service” won’t help with the issue if the office won’t do anything. I now see why reviews are pushed during move in, because eventually the truth surfaces. It’s been 56 days and I still do not have my rent/deposit returned. I’ve lived here almost two months and so far I would not recommend! There are things they can control/change and things they have no control over (noisy park, parking, and neighbors). One item they could control was that I was transferred to another apartment on move day (Nicole was amazing!). I provided first month rent and deposit on the original apartment, as of now almost 8 weeks later they still have not returned the almost $4000. I get excuses and no follow through or told, “it’s in the mail” - which was sent to the wrong address, then to be told a “random person” found it, to come get your check and the next day when I go to pick it up I’m told it was canceled, and to replace the check - “it’s up to corporate” which goes against their own lease and NC Landlord/Tenant State Statues. Yet, I had to be current with my rent and lease.

      Of course the location is great… simply the best location in Cary! But then you also get a great apartment with high ceilings, huge windows, quartz counters, modern appliances and abundant lighting. But it’s the staff that really makes this a 5 star place. Everyone on the management and maintenance teams is friendly, attentive and prompt, and they’re always working to keep this place working great and looking good. Thanks team!
