I give this Residential company 1 stars only because of the management team on site at Legacy Ballantyne Apart Read Morements. They do the best they can with the limitation that they must do business under.At GCI Residential you are only a number to be entered into a computer that will determine your revenue potential. Renter beware. Sign the rental agreement with the understanding that you are only revenue. The fact that you may pay your rent on time, not complain, help with the betterment of the community WITH NOT be taken into account come renew time. But rather the location of the apartment you have been renting, and the potential to get more revenue should you move out. But should you stay even better you will have the owner of paying much more than the person just singing there lease. Potential is the gold here. Even if apartment stays on the market for a year, the potential of what they could get for the rent will the determining factor in the pricing. The same rule goes for lease renewals.

Constant Blowers are really annoying, aspecially after 5pm. These guys carry on up til 8pm sometimes. They als Read Moreo cover the same areas over and over again just trying to look busy. It really is very annoying.
The Pool area grills need more consistent maintenance. They are always either broken or filthy dirty.
I miss the tennis courts.
My apartment maintenance has been really poor.
As a resident who's been living here for 5 years I've seen the overall quality drop substantially.

One of the times when I renewed, I thought I could do better, so I shopped around. No luck. This place has am Read Moreenities that other"upscale" communities don't even realize they don't have!! The gas cooktop and oven are very unique for apt. living and I won't live somewhere that doesn't have them.
Beyond that I find the office staff and maintenance crew to share my same sense of urgency when i request a work order. Yea!!

Living on/around construction - even have a huge trash bin taking up precious parking spots... Also had a maj Read Moreor intrusive construction project happen outside of our unit back along side the side of the building that was very annoying.
