When picking up my keys to move in they told me my apartment would not be ready for two weeks I already had insurance utilities and mail transferred. No compensation. Terrible management

We moved out of this community on 12/10 and received move out charge of $1238.14 on 12/29. The exorbitant amount is to replace the carpet as it was stained at few places. For carpet replacement they have charged us $419. And then a shocking charge is for resurfacing shower tubs in 2 bathrooms because of staining. The amount charged for tub resurfacing is $642.The stain in shower tub was cause we cleaned up the tub before we vacated and few white marks were left cause we put harpic to clean it. It was definitely not a permanent damage and we have the photos to prove it. Not sure why a resurfacing cost $642.The manager has never been friendly to talk to and this is not only our observation. Spend some time is reading other reviews and you should get a hint of what we mean.

A month or two into the lease, we noticed that the vinyl flooring in the dining area would crackle a bit in one spot when you walked over it. Over the course of another few weeks, a "bubble" developed that was about 8 inches in diameter where the vinyl had come unglued from the material beneath it.
As soon as we noticed this, we removed everything from the area and reported it to the office. In fact, we reported this to the office at least 8 times over the course of our lease. Every time we did, we were told "don't worry about it, we'll make a note in your account".
We finally got them to send a maintenance guy out (the only person to actually come look at it during our lease) and were again told "don't worry about it, we can fix this by injecting some glue with a syringe and flattening it back out".
Fast forward to us having moved across the country, and we receive a $600 bill for "damage to the floor".
We tried contacting everyone we could get a phone number for, all of whom brushed us aside and referred us to property manager Jeremy. We attempted to reach Jeremy several times over the course of the last several months, but he elected not return our call. Meanwhile, our bill was sent to Weinstein Properties' collection department.
We were given zero recourse to set the record straight and explain what happened.
My wife finally got in touch with Jeremy today. After all of this stress and trying to reach out, Jeremy proceeded to be as unhelpful as is humanly possible. He was patronizing, dismissive and rude. We may as well have been listening to a loop of "I'm sorry you feel this way, I'll provide some training to my staff".
Jeremy would not acknowledge that we were lied to. Both he and his staff failed to follow the correct procedures, and as a result my family is now out several hundred dollars. Never mind that we're not at fault.

I love the community. We needed a bigger place in the new year. We decided to just move across the parking lot instead of moving to another community.

This is the first apartment complex I've ever lived in so I don't really have anything to compare it to but I really do love it at Bexley Village. The apartments themselves are really nice, the amenities are great, and I don't hear my neighbors. For a while I didn't think anyone lived next door because the walls are thick and I hear nothing from them. They are prompt about work orders and they never make you feel like a nuisance.

i love the grounds very well kept. The walking trail with the view of the wet lands is my favorte. The gym is one of the best apertment gym ive used very clean. pools are top notch. the staff is friendly and on point
