Lake Clair Apartments

Been living here for two years now. For a plain Jane apartment it is a nice complex. There are only one bed, one bath apts so mostly single and older folks living here, which keeps the noise down. (Except for the geese out at the lake, they are noisy buggers!!!) The apts are spacious, maintenance is quick to respond to issues, the front office staff is lovely. Only downside is the apts are a little dated, so the cabinets are a little warped, there is obvious extensive repainting in areas, and over all just in need of a renovation at some point in the future. But if you don't need stainless steel or hard wood floors, just a quiet, clean apartment in a fairly nice area, Lake Clair will do you just fine. The gym is small, but the equipment they have is good stuff. I've never used the pool, but it looks nice and doesn't seem to have issues of crazy parties or over crowding.

Excellent staff, very friendly. Have been living here for a little over a month, I will say however it seems the apartment was extremely rushed. Lots of the kitchen cabinets are tilted to the point of being unable to not notice them, assuming the painters were in a hurry whenever they repainted the cabinet and just threw them back up. Apart from that the only other negative thing I can think of is the metal railings on the exteriors of the building, the paint is flaking almost everywhere you look. Everything else so far has been excellent.

Small laundry room and the rest went up way too much for the new decor on the club house. ..Also Air conditioning is not sufficient for top floor it needs to be updated and a bigger AC unit. Very old.

The office staff is excellent, and everything within the control of the office staff is handled timely and professionally. The building is rather old, so issues arise periodically regarding the building and/or neighbors. Personally, I have loud neighbor(s) that can be fairly irritating but that is not a reflection of the office staff, anything that I've given a rating for in this survey, or the complex as a whole. Renewed my lease.

Communication: I can't think of a situation since my wife and I have been here that a phone call or e-mail hasn't gone more than an hour without being responded to. They usually respond with in 30 minutes. Maintenance Requests: Always, always these tasks have been addressed typically with in the same day. Of coarse they are pretty prompt when it's an emergency! [even on the weekends] Grounds: We have always been pleased at the proactive efforts to maintain appearance as well as safety. Most important to us, "Attitude": We can be having the worse day and the staff, including maintenance, will always seem to make it a little less chaotic! Always with a willing attitude to work things out. They are the best and should be made to feel that way. They have worked hard to gain the respect and trust.

Wonderful community! Staff is very welcoming and we feel very safe. Great location and wonderful views. Landscape is beautiful!
