We take pride in the great community feel we have here, and love that residents start their own groups, like the language group! We're so happy that we have a great personal trainer who lives on-site and is willing to do fitness classes for our community.

Love everything except the exterior soundproofing. I can clearly hear full conversations outside my apartment Read More, even when the people are not talking above a speaking voice. I am also above the garage, so I hear the entrance door opening and slamming shut regularly.

The apartment is great. It is always kept clean and the staff is on top of any issues quickly and efficiently. Read More They keep us in the loop with emails which is very appreciated. As far as the amenities, the gym is great. We also love the coffee. The computer/printer situation is annoying because a few residents have made it their personal office and hog the computer. The printer also never seems to work. Other than that

We're so glad you're enjoying all the amenities here at 401 Oberlin! We definitely want our residents to be able to use the amenities as much as possible while still being cognizant of other residents who would like to use them as well, so please let us know if you feel that a few select people are inhibiting your ability to enjoy these. We have also ordered a new computer and printer in order to solve the technical difficulties we have had in the past. Thanks again!
When I first moved in, everything was perfect and overall I really really enjoyed my time at Oberlin. Then I t Read Morehink there had been a change in management at some point in 2017, and when I went to move out, I had an absolutely horrible experience working with the managers downstairs trying to get my moveout processed. Not one email I sent over the span of 3 months was replied to, not one call/voicemail was returned, and whenever I tried to visit the office, no one was ever there. My move-out paperwork was lost several times but I was never contacted, so only a week before my move-out was scheduled, then I had to go to the office to find out they didn't have anything in my file about my move and made me start the process all over again. Even through this time sensitive process, not one email or call was returned, and when I would finally call and get someone on the line, they would have no information filed in my file and I had to keep starting the process all over again and re-sending my 60 day notice email because it just kept not getting filed. The old management was much more knowledgeable and organized and would respond within minutes of me calling or sending an email.

We are very sorry to hear about this experience. We want our residents move-out processes to go as smoothly as possible, and we would like to apologize if this was not your experience. We want to let you know that one of the previous managers just start back at the community and is getting processes back to the way they were before that you were used to.
