Do not sign a lease here. Our apartment has been an absolute pain since we moved in last summer. Two sewage back ups in our bathroom has resulted in disgusting sewage water filling the tub, once flooding out into our bathroom. We have had unending maintence requests from broken fan in the bathroom to spewing water from the kitchen sink. Big rains caused flooding in our front yard. Walking to our car for work means muddy and ruined shoes every time it rains. Rotting wood on the front deck, rusted hardware and destroyed baseboard in the apartment has been painted over with layers and layers of white paint (see photos) in order to avoid replacing it. This place has been a nightmare. Cars park in our parking spot often because the markers have worn away so much. My car was towed after we first moved in because I made the honest mistake of parking in someones spot simply because I could not tell it was marked, $200 thrown away to get my car back. We have had simple requests completely ignored, some still from August (see oxidized window photo you cant even see out of?). Poor insulation has caused our electricity bill to double during the winter months even though we keep our thermostat at 68, even so the downstairs feels like 50. I have never experieced this in the 2 apartment complexes I have lived at previously. Definitely avoid living here, the model is very nice, but it is not what you get. For the money, there are much much better places to live.

PLEASE READ AND RECONSIDER RENTING HERE. NO HUMAN SHOULD LIVE IN THESE CONDITIONS Only been her a month and a half. Went without A/C for 3 weeks when it was 100 degrees outside, went to pick up a package because it said it arrived at the office, Pat check the tablet and said they didn't have it. It took three visits and me having to tell her to check the closet for the package for her to even check and guess who's package was sitting there for a week and a half? Then the water bill came up to $309 dollars. It's only me and my fianc and we aren't even home to use the water. Frustrated, treated like another number, and always refer to me and my fianc as roommates. They know we are together and about to get married. Not feeling it at all. Think twice before you move here.

We have lived here for more than 2 years and everyone that works here is great. Hawthorne has made a nice place to live extraordinary.

Great place to call home with friendly staff and the perfect location. I really enjoy their floor plans as we have no upstairs neighbors!

The apartments are smoking apartments, so those of us who do not smoke, have apartments bumped up to those who do. We all share the same vent. Therefore all of our clothes and belongings smell like old cigarette smoke. If there is more than one car in your family or if there are roommates, then someone will be driving around looking for a parking spot, or parking on the street. Neighbors are always nice!! Management changed in the last year, and things have gone down hill.
