Lived here for a few years, and overall it was good but definitely went downhill in the last few years. The price was good for the amount of space we had. I was on a Ground Level unit on Rocky Brook, but I heard that up the hill it was not as nice. Be prepared though, we had SO MANY power outages. We even were out for a week in the dead of winter and had to stay at a hotel to be warm. I had constant internet issues as well; Spectrum even said at one point the line outside was cut. There was trash often outside and just left there by residents or maintenance (roofing supplies were left outside for weeks on more than one occasion). The office staff was friendly when I first moved in, but eventually they seemed to be more and more rude. They often acted like I was bothering them when I called. Maintenance was not bad, but they often took a week and a half to address any issues. I've heard stories from multiple residents about it being even longer, so I am glad that a week and a half was my norm. Parking can be rough at night, but there is ample parking on Rocky Brook it just sometimes takes a little longer of a walk. Neighbors are generally good; we had a family above us that was loud and stomped around but that is going to happen. I wanted to rate this place a 4 star, but as I wrote this I think that is has become more of a 3 star. I enjoy being so close to Cuyahoga Falls, and love the area. There is just a lot of downfall for the last few years that made it go downhill.

New management company AIY is horrible. Only cares about profit, money spent on repairs and renters needs decrease profits so those needs are ignored. Parking is horrible, literally over 100 abandoned cars on property most with flat tires and expired plates, many have sat for over a year. Management is well aware of the situation but don't care. This used to be a nice community but the neglect of AIY Management is slowly turning this place into a slum. Renter beware. Just look for yourself. Abandoned cars are easy to spot as well as weeds growing on roofs and gutters which will only lead to water backup and mold. It's sad that this ounce well maintained community is quickly decaying.

Timbertop is, in it's finest, truest essence, a commercial slumlord property. This place is right for you if you enjoy the following: Unprofessional, incredibly rude front desk staff Waiting for weeks for maintenance to arrive Water regularly not working during the winter and calling an answering service that will never tell you, or anyone else in your building, when the issue might be fixed Driving up icy, untreated hills to get to the main roads to get to work Outdated 70's decor Expecting that your utilities will leak, or flood your downstairs neighbors (then waiting an undisclosed amount of time for maintenance to make an appearance) The company will try to raise your rent despite terrible living conditions Neighborhood kids/ residents destroying the area (fences, staircases, dumping garbage everywhere) with no response from the front desk Moving out the month before the end of your lease and being charged the full rent for the following month that you're not occupying the apartment,despite Timbertop having a vacant unit ready to rent out Waiting until it's a certain temperature outside before the heat turns on (prepare for a few weeks of living in the cold) Most apartments don't have windows that open or a second door, so if there's a fire in your apartment, good luck! Moreover, if you're interested in Timberland Village, the apartments all stink of the water treatment plant nearby. On the plus side, when you sign a lease with Timbertop, they give you a "goodie bag" consisting of a bag of popcorn, a roll of napkins and some generic candy... WELCOME HOME!!! I'd recommend living across the street at Cascade Falls, or at the Barcelona Townhomes nearby, before wasting your time and money at this joke of a property.
