I asked about their cat policy and was told that I had to have my cat declawed in order to live there. This is an unnecessary and inhumane procedure where the first toes of each of the cat's paws are cut off. It leads to short-term and long-term pain for your cat and behavioral issues. This is something that people need to know. This procedure has been banned in several countries and in some parts of the US. They say they are a pet-friendly community but this shows that they have a lack of compassion for animals. A simple remedy is what I do. Clip my cat's nails and give him a scratch post with catnip.
