While certain parts of our one bedroom apartment were gorgeous (we have an updated kitchen with brand new appl Read Moreiances and real marble countertops, as well as new cabinets), other parts of the "refurbished" apartment were awfully constructed. I was told that I was responsible for maintaining the "grass" around my patio which are weeds and ivy that I d Read Moreidn't plant. also the walks are not always shoveled and salted. when it was renewal time they raised my rent by $25. no perks for being a good tenant.

HI Stacey, Yes, residents are required to maintain their own patio areas, in accordance with the lease agreement. We take every precaution to ensure the walks are properly salted and shoveled and apologize that this was not up to your standard. In the future, please contact us directly so that we may address anything that was missed immediately. Please note, that last year was the first time in 5 years that we requested rent increases, which is far below the industry average.
