I absolutely hate living here!!! It is way too expensive and they do not tell you all the fees up front either Read More. Rent for a 2 bedroom is 695+5.00 for them spraying bugs which they don't do.+11.50+ insurance mandatory=712.50. They tell you, that you pay water and trash but what they don't tell you is its actually water+fees, trash+fees, sewage+fees, fees for the place they go through, electric outside+fees, if you pay online additional 7.99fee and they automatically add a 15.00 fee to the account with added fees to it so your paying in between 120-180$ monthly then you have your electric bill don't use any electric, tested it out personally due to being on vacation and the least amount is 50.00 use electric partially your bill will range from 55-100 in the summer time. in the winter it will range from 200-500. The place out side is a mess, there is glass every where in the parking lot, dead plants, tree branches falling down hitting cars parked away from the trees. your car will get hit by others several times, scratched, and keyed. There are a lot of drug activity at night, a lot of police almost every night here. the pool is only open during business hours, trashed and kids bullying others. kids play in the street unsupervised playing in front of cars. the Laundromat here is ridiculous, the washer works great but the dryers don't waste your time a half a load of baby clothes took 4 times to dry. I cant imagine how many times bath towels or covers would take. I hate this place. Not to mention certain papers they put on your door don't match what is in your lease. Can be very confusing and ridiculous!

The updates done at Hilliard Village are apparent but haphazardly completed. My bathroom flooring is rippled ( Read Morelikely not cut properly prior to installation) and my basement is leaky. They repaired the leak by painting waterproofing paint on the walls, which did not work. In addition, the painter got paint ALL OVER my belongings I had stored in my basement, including a dresser and my dryer. Also, when replacing the patio fence, the replacement latches are HORRIBLE!! I commonly cannot open it:(

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you have had such a bad experience with repairs in the community. A fencing company replaces any broken gate latches in the community, so if you would like someone to come out and look at your gate latch, we would be happy to do so. We would also like to assess the damage to your belongings from any paint. Thank you again for letting us know.
Maintenance requests were slow to be acknowledged, even ignored on one occasion. The management seemingly cha Read Morenges every other month, and each batch is as unhelpful as the last. The noise from neighbors is constant (screaming matches, police calls for domestic violence, etc.). And I recently was advised the wiring in the building is lousy and interferes with phone and television service. There is more, but I still live here for now.

We recently renovated the community, so we can assure you that we have never encountered an instance where wiring in the buildings causes cell phone and television interference. We would like to remedy any outstanding maintenance requests that you have so please call the office with what needs to be done!
