The management does not keep lawns clean, does not teach their landscaping company how to clean leaves, instead of collecting them, they blow it into tenants back or front porch, it is ridiculous that I have to clean porch as many as twice after they cut grass. Dog Poo is every where, try walking 5368 to garages on other side and see trash. Look at the drainage situation that will cost company lot more in January unless they get it fixed before snow. They do poor upgrades,oven does not work.

It's tough to gauge based on 5+ years of living at Sterling Place. I was there when there was poor management, up to the most recent staff changes that had a positive impact.

I'm pretty happy here and for the most part maintenance/office staff respond and resolve issues quickly. It bothers me that there is no recycling, and only one dumpster for the whole complex; by garbage day, it is overflowing and disgusting. I feel that the rent is overpriced for what you get, but it's home so I plan to stay for the time being unless the rent goes up too much.

Because I was told when I originally signed, only a 5% increase would occur from lease to lease and I have yet to see that. Most lease increases are around 15%. Also, they made updates and the place is still falling apart. The stairs leading up to my appartment are unevenly spaced, concrete is chipping away, paint is chipoing away, etc. the maintenance has improved but they do not give you an idea as to when they'll be able to fix your requests. When you call the main office nobody answers.

The maintenance is very slow to get things done. They often do one part of the maintenance and then do not combe back to the finish the job, leaving holes in your wall for 2 + months, this has happened more than once.

Nice area, decent neighbors, apartment layout and amenities are good. Lots of maintenance issues, though, and trouble getting them resolved, price isn't that much cheaper than The Quarry which was better quality, water has shut off twice in a year now.
