    I currently live in this apartment complex. The apartments are very roomy and beautiful. I love that some apartments have flooring in the living and dining room areas. The bedrooms have carpeting. The office staff is very friendly and attentive. For families with kids and pets, they have a great kids play skate and a fenced play area for pets. I love the perks that are offered. I love that trash is picked up at your front door three times a week. The garages are big and have an attached storage area. They have an excellent exercise room and equipment. You can't beat this!

    DO NOT LIVE HERE! The Estates at New Albany is terrible. The new management company (The Conor Group) that took over in 2017 is truly awful. The employees are rude, unhelpful, mean, condescending, and lazy. Any time you have an issue or maintenance request, they treat you like you're stupid and annoying. Maintenance takes FOREVER to come and they rarely fix anything correctly. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PART ABOUT MY APARTMENT WAS THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING NEVER WORKED. Maintenance came out countless times over the 3 summers I lived there and never solved the problem. I have logged HUNDREDS of emails, phone calls, photos, and maintenance requests about this issue. It was unbelievable. The grounds are not kept clean, the trash is overflowing constantly (like, filling the parking lot) the flowers are dead, the bushes are overgrown, there's flooding any time it rains. I once had a bat that lived above my apartment door for several days and the property management wouldn't remove it. The pool is dirty and over-crowded. Completely over-run by kids without supervision. The gym smells like body odor/ sweat and the drinking fountains are moldy, it's disgusting. Parking is limited. You usually have to park kind of far away. It really sucks in the winter, when you have to walk through the snow/ice. Or anytime you're carrying groceries in. Also, if you live in a building close to the trash compactor, your parking lot will be filled with trash and smell nasty. They charge $38 a month for trash. Yes, you read that right, $38 A MONTH. They'll tell you it's because they offer this great service where you set your trash out 3 days a week and someone will pick it up and remove it for you, but it's not true. I would say 50% of the time that I set my trash out, it was actually picked up. Half of the time I set it out it wasn't picked up. Then animals would get into it and tear open the bag and I would have smelly rotten trash all over my front door step.

    I just moved in and WOW. Front office does a great job with answering any and every question professionally. It is a very quit, clean, and well respected community. I am looking forward to continuing living here in my one bedroom.

    I wish I could give this complex 0 stars. Absolutely horrible property management and even worse staff. When Conor Group purchased this complex from Village Green, Of course they didn't hesitate to raise our rent without upgrading anything or even fixing the problems that are already wrong with our current home that we pay them over $1800 for each month. They force us to pay for trash services we never use, and other things things like the new water fountain and pet park they put in. On top of this, every time I call into the leasing office with a simple question the staff is extremely rude and disconnected. My neighbors tell me they feel like numbers on a spreadsheet rather than tenants and actual people. The maintenance service takes years to respond and are not polite. I am 26 years old and have only lived at two apartment complexes, however there is no doubt this is the worst. I was excited when I found out Conor Group would be taking over our complex after reading they have an A+ Rating and great reviews on BBB, however the work they have done in this complex is horrible. I expected more. This is not a community I will be staying at past my lease and I would not suggest living here to anyone. There are better options down the street.

    DO NOT RENT HERE, READ THIS! I've had my car broken into, garage broken into, boyfriends truck was stolen, bugs, snakes, flooded closet, trash and junk everywhere, was promised things would be fixed and upgrades and they never were - do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. Management is awful.

    After living 15 years in different apartments I am writing a bad review about one for the first time. Many apartments have issues but these people are topping all of them. This summer was horrible. The new management has increased rents without upgrading anything. So you could be paying same rent for old appliances and cabinets. Mosquitoes were everywhere. Kids playing outside were getting bitten by mosquitoes. They management didn't care. It's not their job. They painted all apartments outside, put a new fountain and did all good look better outside. Inside toilets were leaking and soaking the carpets downstairs in the family room. Water was coming inside the house every time it rains. Snakes were right outside your doorsteps and kids were scared playing outside their homes. Yet none of these things mattered to the management. After complaints they changed the manager but the new one is the same. The only good thing is, it is in the New Albany School district and the management knows this perfectly. And that's their trump card.
