We have been here for seven months. The day I moved in the toilet and refrigerator weren't working. We had sec Read Moreond hand smoke that smelled like someone was chain smoking in my apartment. We had to live with roaches for five months that we're so horrible from our neighbor that you couldn't even have food safely stored in the apartment. They were coming out of appliances in the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. After five months of fighting with the property management they moved us to another apartment. They gave us keys that would not even unlock the new apartment and caused us to push the move back. Maintenance is never on site or available on weekends or after five. The office staff is rude and incompetent. They lose paperwork and never follow through. They never seem to know what they are talking about. Our air conditioner broke and we had to fight to get them to fix it after days and upper 80's/90's. They conveniently sent a tech close to five who did nothing and then left for the day. It still isn't fixed. They said we needed medical documentation of my migraines, my five year old's allergies. We had to stay at my parents house because of the heat and my daughter being sick. When you live on a tight budget with no health insurance it isn't easy to just go back to the Dr for a medical note. They reference corporate policies that are not included in your signed lease. This has been the worst apartment we have ever lived in by far! Counting the days until we can move! Champion is 0 stars, they don't care about residents at all.
