Lake Club At Polaris

We have been here for seven months. The day I moved in the toilet and refrigerator weren't working. We had second hand smoke that smelled like someone was chain smoking in my apartment. We had to live with roaches for five months that we're so horrible from our neighbor that you couldn't even have food safely stored in the apartment. They were coming out of appliances in the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. After five months of fighting with the property management they moved us to another apartment. They gave us keys that would not even unlock the new apartment and caused us to push the move back. Maintenance is never on site or available on weekends or after five. The office staff is rude and incompetent. They lose paperwork and never follow through. They never seem to know what they are talking about. Our air conditioner broke and we had to fight to get them to fix it after days and upper 80's/90's. They conveniently sent a tech close to five who did nothing and then left for the day. It still isn't fixed. They said we needed medical documentation of my migraines, my five year old's allergies. We had to stay at my parents house because of the heat and my daughter being sick. When you live on a tight budget with no health insurance it isn't easy to just go back to the Dr for a medical note. They reference corporate policies that are not included in your signed lease. This has been the worst apartment we have ever lived in by far! Counting the days until we can move! Champion is 0 stars, they don't care about residents at all.

The floors in this place are so weak I think they used tooth picks. My neighbor above takes a step it sounds like they are going to fall through the floor. I can’t take this anymore !!!!!!!! Do not take a bottom apartment. Only take a top if you don’t care if your neighbors below will hate you!!!! This place is a disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Renter beware!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is definitely no insulation in the walls as well. They also use huge air conditioning fans on the outside of the apartment to blow air into the furnace during the winter. 😱😱😱 blowing freezing air into a furnace to get your apartment warm 🥶🥶🥶🥶 🤔 🤔🤔🤔. Lake Club (Brittany) was such a relief after having a bad experience in our prior residence. The move in process was made very easy, quick, and smooth compared to what we had went through previous to living here. We couldn’t have picked a better community to live in! Thank you Champion! Especially thank you to Brittany for answering all questions and concerns and making this a pain free transition! :)

Lake club (Brittany) really took the time to really dig deep and show us the benefits of making the move here they made it easy as possible and the apartments are so clean and nice for the price it’s really worth it and me and my partner was in after just a week or less very nice and polite people in the office 10/10 Recommend!

They are very responsible, it doesn't take long for maintenance to get to your home if something is wrong. a great community. The people at the office treated you the best

Everyone at the leasing office is extremely friendly. Maintenance technicians are super responsive. Diverse residents. Someone from the leasing office left me a treat for my birthday. The leasing office staff made sure my move the my apartment was super smooth. Adam and Erin are the best!

The office staff is always friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew is awesome. Any time I have put in a maintenance request they have come either the same day or the very next day... even when the request wasn't anything major. It doesn't matter if I put the request in through the office staff or the website. Everyone is always friendly, helpful, and thorough.

We’re living here for 2 years & I never had any complaint About the complex! They pay super attention to service requests. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The center is very beautiful. They have good playground for kids . Can’t be more satisfied!

Still waiting to hear anything about my security deposit 57 days later. Calling and emailing champion and still no answer. Provided a forwarding address and everything. Thank you champion for a horrible experience in just 6 months.

The worst apartment I've ever lived at. There's literally no insulation in between the floors, you can hear EVERYTHING that your upstairs neighbors do: walking, talking, watching TV etc. Squeaky floors are the most horrible: you can hear literally every step your neighbor makes, doesn't matter how lightly they walk. The only good thing about living there was the maintenance crew, professional and always available. However, if tranquility and piece of mind are even a little important to you, do not rent an apartment there. It's not worth it.
