Local Reviews

Area is surrounded by anything you would need. Travel distance to anywhere in the city is within 30 minutes.

We have large front yards & back yards close to restaurants and grocery stores. The schools and churches are great and close.

Our neighborhood is very friendly and about everyone knows each other in it, if you walk up the street there is a dollar general and across the road there's a golf course. About a half a mile away is where there are a bunch of restaurants and the school so it's fairly close.

I actually like a lot of things about the neighborhood I am currently living in. I like the fact that there is so much around us & at our disposal. I like the stores around here, there is a Best Buy within walking distance, I've never had that before. There is a restaurant called Le Peep that me & my better half LOVE, within 2 minutes of our place! We love walking at night to Meijer & grabbing some groceries, it's nice.

Living in Loveland, OH

Colonel Thomas Paxton settled Loveland in 1795 between the Little Miami River and picturesque valleys of Ohio. The city was named after James Loveland, one of the first residents who operated the local general store in the early 19th century. As a stop on the Little Miami Railroad between Cincinnati and Xenia, Loveland experienced a rapid population growth. The Little Miami River separated East and West Loveland until a bridge brought the two sides together in 1872. The city was officially incorporated in 1961, and today Loveland is a flourishing community with residents who are passionate about arts and culture. Families live in Loveland apartments to take advantage of the outstanding school system and beautiful parks dispersed throughout the city.

Loveland Attractions and Special Events

Chateau Laroche, also known as the Loveland Castle, is one of the city's most exciting attractions. Built to honor the strength, valor, and manly purity of men bestowed with knighthood, visitors can enjoy picnicking, games and puzzles, information about Sir Harry Andrews, beautiful architecture, and a collection of swords and weapons. The Loveland Arts Council hosts an annual Winter Art Show that showcases the original works of artists from the tri-state area. Residents here also take advantage of numerous art, museum, and sporting events located a short distance away in Cincinnati.
