Winterberry Village

I've lived there for two years and I find it hard to believe that it's allowed to say luxury apartments. The pool hasn't been open in a few years. All the apartments on the second floor doesn't have garbage disposal or dishwasher but first floor does. Filthy hallways. Stray cats everywhere. I've seen people bring dog's into apartments and that's not allowed. The heating is horrible during the winter months. The electric bill is sky high because they don't fix the heat problem. It takes forever to get work done if you have a problem. This place is not what is advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Apartment is subpar, definitely not luxury like the sign boasts. The kids on the street behind the complex also terrorize multiple people who live here and the cops/ apartment management wont do anything about it. No heat in the winter, sometimes its still running when spring starts and is warm. Pool wasnt open for four years I lived there but they still upped my rent every single year, no other improvements made. Have to share one washer and one dryer with 8 inconsiderate people. Half the time the card reader doesnt work. Dont recommend

The land lord or whatever she is was very rude when telling her about me switching jobs. Even though I make double sometimes triple what the rent amount would have been for the unit I was interested in. I was told I cant help you! Who says that?!? Very unprofessional! Anonymous

Most all of these reviews are outdated. New management took over the office around 2019. She started making a million negative changes. They repaved the parking garages and thought they could then charge people $60 a month. When everyone stopped paying to park there after that, management dropped the prices again. The buildings are dirty. There are stray cats that constantly climb on cars. Couldnt plug anything into the bathroom outlet or it would blow a fuse. There was mold in the windows. The heat is spotty. Along with a drunk man that multiple people complained about due to him having public outbursts, yet nothing was done. The place definitely went downhill the pat couple of years.

There is no heat in the winter and my electric bill is sky high because of the space heaters! I have to have to have heaters so my apartment doesn't freeze. Not to mention all the money I have to spend on the fuses because they keep blowing, because of the space heaters. Nobody answers the phones. I don't recommend this place to anyone!

The rental office staff was a pleasure to work with and was always there when I needed them. Whenever I had an issue, my concerns were address and resolved promptly. I would not only recommend Winterberry to a friend, but I would have no issue with renting an apartment from them again if I ever needed to. My neighbors were all very friendly and it truly always felt like home to me.
