Mostly negative things to say about Red Coach in Springfield, OH. The few maintenance requests I had were slow Read More to be completed. Very few of the residents are responsible pet owners; pets off leash, aggressive, non-collared and never cleaned up after, which management never enforced. Units are very outdated and basic. Move-out was an extreme nightmare (still going on 5 months later). Office attendant never showed up for our scheduled walk through, never followed up with a phone call/email/written notice and simply sent incorrect outstanding charges to a collections agency. Only person that has been helpful and responsive in resolving this issue has been the regional director.A few positives:The grass is fairly well cut, the pool area is quite nice, and as a dog owner, the enclosed dog park is nice to have.Overall, Red Coach gave a great impression at first, which is why my wife and I chose this complex, but soon became evident that it is poorly managed and they seem to let anybody in (quite a few drug observances and noisy residents). Not the place to raise a family.

Pros: Great apartments, 24 hour maintenance was great, landscaping and overall look of the area was wonderful Read More.
Cons: Rent being raised every year for no reason, office staff were very unprofessional and not mentally equipped to handle residents, and availability of staff was unacceptable (walked over many times to pay rent and no one was in the office during work hours).

Apartments are antiquated and poorly upkept. All windows let in a ton of cold air, and the furnace runs const Read Moreantly. Vice versa in the summer with the A/C. Lots of insects in the apartment due to poor caulking around windows. Numerous maint issues, that takes them forever to get to, and when they do, they rarely fix it right. Office staff tends to say they will address issues, but never does, such as issues with neighbors breaking rules, noise, people throwing parties and taking all the parking.
