Listen ! If you see a 5 star review disregard it , Management is the WORST, Ill repeat again the WORST! Rude and deceptive, they will talk to you any kind of way , trust me look at their , Better Business Complaints,you want something fixed , good luck, you have a issue try reaching corporate on the phone, Ill personally give you $500 if you can get them to answer the phone, Millenium is aware of all of this for years , they dont care. You can thank me later for the review.

While Tamarac Apartments appears to be decent on the surface level; I urge you to avoid them at all costs. Before I get into details, I would like to point out that many of the 5-star reviews you see are thanks to their positive review campaigns. In exchange for leaving positive reviews online, they will enter residents into raffles to win prizes. Be prepared for large rent spikes year after year. After living there for four years, my rent payment jumped by about 150% between my first month and final month. The office staff were extremely rude, genuinely horrible to deal with, and would quickly resort to threats. Have a problem? Deal with it or be threatened with eviction. Maintenance was not a priority at this property. This is the only property I have lived at where preventative maintenance wasn't part of a routine - they don't even inspect furnaces and change air filters after covid started. You do not get to inspect the unit you will receive until after you sign. When I moved in, I reported a number of minor problems and in my opinion, many of the repairs were done rather haphazardly. I'm sure appliances vary from unit to unit, but can say that Tamarac has a very "run them until they die" attitude. I believe our dishwasher was straight out of the early 1980's. The air conditioning unit was also very dated and inefficient. The contractors on-site were frequently (in my opinion) very sketchy. One time, I had to call emergency maintenance after some painters tried my door handle multiple times on a Friday night. If you choose to live here, be prepared to part with your deposit and some additional money. Most of the units I saw vacated had the carpet replaced and I suspect it was frequently at the previous tenant's expense.

Tamarac Apartments is the best community I have lived in so far. I have moved around between a few over the years and Tamarac has everything I am looking for plus an amazing staff!! Anytime I need maintenance they come out right away and the girls in the office are so kind and helpful! Not to mention the location!! I would absolutely recommend Tamarac for anyone looking in the area!!

Love living at Tamarac!! My apartment is huge and overlooks the wooded area where the deer like to roam. Maintenance is super efficient and the ladies in the office are always super friendly. Love the Herni portal, the resident media platform. I can pay rent online and see what's going on in the community, its really convenient. Haven't had any issues and highly recommend!!!!

If you want huge rate increases every time your lease is up and to slide in ice all winter this is the place for you, They do not care how many years you have lived here and pay your rent on time they would rather have to pay to remodel an apartment and rent it for the same amount then to not increase your rent and the turn around here is huge

Edit: We have now lived here for almost a year and we still really enjoy it here. It’s a really nice walkable community with plenty of friendly people walking their dogs out all the time. I’m a mid 20s woman and I feel safe enough to walk outside alone at night which is very rare nowadays. The maintenance are always VERY fast to fix any issues that might come up like a leaked AC unit or clogged kitchen drain. Where we used to live in Eastlake the maintenance was almost non existent so the maintenance response here is very much appreciated by us. It’s usually pretty quiet here which is great as well and the Henri app is really nice to pay rent easily. I’d definitely recommend it here and we look forward to renewing our lease. Also to be clear my honesty in this review is not swayed at all by the raffle they have in the office like a recent review from someone else states. We love it here I honestly don’t know how other people have issues here, just be nice to the staff and they’ll be nice to you. Original 9 months ago: The staff up front are very nice and helpful especially Joseph. He was very helpful when we had a lot of questions about moving in. It’s very quiet here compared to where we used to live. We love the layout of the apartment and the fact that we can have our own washer and dryer in our apartment. The app they use is really cool as well how you can request a play date for your animals and stay up to date on posts from your neighbors like if a package got delivered somewhere else you can easily find it.

TERRIBLE experience after my first year living here. Second year was an absolute nightmare. The first concern was not having heat in my apartment basically all of October through December. The maintenance team did respond but could not figure out the issue. Once the issue was found, it was a nightmare trying to get management to rebuild my furnace (which was needed) Property manager gives no care to residents, (it's really sad) Not worth the money, rent will go up with no proper explanation. They will fight you until you are physically worn out. Live elsewhere, it is not worth the headache. Lastly, get ready for ridiculous charges once you terminate your lease, they will nickle and dime you!

The grounds are always kept up! Maintenance is great, office always willing to help. Very happy with the neighbors that we have. Safe and if ever a problem, Willoughby police would be here in 1-2 minutes!

If i could put negative stars i would. Three people i kno that have lived here, All three have had issues with management. Feel like the replies back to these reviews speaks enough of how you will be treated here. Any five stars reviews here are bought. They offer u to be entered to win money, if u leave a 5 star review.

Too expensive for what you get. Glad I've never moved here...

for living in this almost a year all i can say its a scam each few weeks or months maintence work would repair your stuff very late after u request it like a week or a month late then when i can get information of the pet fee originally it was $300 they dont tell anyone of the updated price when i got my pet they asked for $400 instead of the price it was originally charged for mailing will be confusing cause no pays attention even when you do doordash or ubereats people will not pay atention to the directions to where you live

Thanks Tamarac for the $100 rent increase last year. Also, thanks for the $145 rent increase this year. That’s all I’m going to say.

Stay away from these apartments! They’re just nice when you first move in. As soon as I was asking for a favor toward the end of my lease, they ignored me for 6 weeks and then charged me a late fee for not giving them a 30 day notice. And then when I moved out, I found out they canceled my request with the gas company and blasted heat so my bill was extremely high. In the 14 days of no one living there, my bill was the highest ever it’s been in that time. Would never recommend these thieves to anyone!

I lived in Tamarac for three years. While the apartment itself was beatiful and the location was ideal. The first issue i had was that my car was vandalized on two separate occasions. When i complained to the leasomf office, the only advice they could offer was to file a police report because they had no cameras on the property and couldn’t do much for me. I accepted that because i signed a lease stating they were not responsible for property being damaged. The second and most important issue i had was upon moving out, i was waiting for my security deposit back. My security deposit was a little under 1000. Upon reading reviews i saw that very few people ever for a deposit back, and since i hadn’t heard from them in over a month i figured I’d call them. When i called them i was informed my letter was sent out a month ago and i never got it but they were willing to email me a copy. I open my email horrified today find out not only am i not getting my security deposit back but i owe 1300 to replace the carpets and some other bs pet fees for an illegal pet which is ridiculous. I would would be very weary and do your research
