Gateway Village Apartments

I had been hearing banging noises for a few weeks and contacted my property management to get it resolved. They came over and installed a new heater, which they thought would solve the noise. I called and informed them that it did not solve the banging. Soon after, they had maintenance come out and have a look/listen to it. Upon doing so, he told me that this was something he couldnt fix and that he was going to tell the office that they needed to call plumbers. Two weeks after that I had heard nothing from them. As a result, I had to call the office and ask what was going on. At that time they started telling me that we couldnt locate the problem so it couldnt be fixed. Therefore, I had to start recording videos of the noise and start sending it in and go back and forth for about a month before they did anything. Strangely, for whatever reason they decided to send out an electrician, which was baffling. After that, they sent out a plumber and told me after the plumber left that they couldnt solve the problem which is an outright lie. I called that plumber and he told me he could fix it, but it would potential costs hundreds of dollars. Then I called other plumbers to see if this was something they could fix and they all said yes. As a result, I had to go back and forth again for some time with emails and text messages threatening to sue if they didnt fix the problem to which they finally sent out the plumber for the second time at which time they took about 20 mins to install something under my sink that didn't fix the problem. In addition to this, my bathtub filled up with yellow slim on this last Friday. Consequently the plumbers were scheduled to come back on that day, but all they did was ask me about the banging to which i explained nothing has stopped. I sent them videos of the slim and they have not gotten back to me about fixing anything and it seems as if they are ignoring me now. This place is a nightmare

This apartment complex has a really bad mold problem. In the walls, carpet, windowsills. We have made several complaints to the landlord and they barely do anything. They gave us a dehumidifier to fix the problem and just painted over the mold in the bathroom. Our most recent find, the bottom of our mattresses that has been on the carpet, is COVERED in mold. Our landlord isnt doing anything about it and left early today, even though we were told someone would be here today to check the foundation under the carpet, before the new carpet was laid down.

Every lease renewal they do a 45 dollar monthly increase. A lot of transients in the area digging through trash. Inspections every 2 months, lack of privacy. Vehicles towed frequently in guest parking if you have more than 1 vehicle it could be a problem

The management team does not follow through with any thing they say and the wait time for a response is ridiculous! Dont waste your time or money on this place!

We were not approved due to their high expectations .
