Never received an email or call regarding my inquiry. They must not want tenants that badly.

The pictures on this listing are of the newer units, my unit looked nothing like that. The staff is rude, the unit was filthy when I moved in, bugs were always somehow getting in, residents dump trash everywhere, and people let their dogs go to the bathroom all over the place, including common areas inside the buildings. Every interaction I had with the leasing office was negative After we moved in. They also shorted us on our security deposit. We moved out a month early, and we were told we would be responsible for marchs rent but not utilities. When we called, they said we were charged for the utilities. They also towed our car without notice.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Constant rent increases with no improvements made to the complex. They have a constant bug problem and the Archer guy is here every Wednesday like clock work. You have a shared water bill with the entire complex. They bill you a water/sewer bill each month but you never get to see the breakdown. If your single in a 1 bedroom your paying the same amount as a family of 5 even though they use more. Want to pay your rent online ? Thats a 15 dollar fee. This place will nickel and dime you and never put a cent back into the place.

I really like the place. However VERY disappointed about the pool. They advertise a pool, but they did not ever open it this year! This is a big part of why we rented here.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Tanya (Property Manager) is incredibly rude and condescending, not to mention she refuses to answer questions in writing which is a HUGE RED FLAG. She has zero compassion and understanding for any situation you need assistance with. That combined with dodging questions is unethical and sketchy. The online payment system has led to momentous issues for me, and when I tried to fix it I was met with a cold attitude, an unwillingness to help, and a threat of court filing. The actual apartment itself was in bad condition when my roommate and I moved in (pictures). Our toilet began leaking right after we moved in and our sink followed about a week later, there are screws holding the windows shut (others don't lock at all), I had asked for a pole to be able to hang my clothes in my closet and they didn't follow through with the installation. Our patio door has no lock, though we were promised one would be installed after we moved in. When I inquired about it, I did not get an answer as to when it would come in, still no word to this day. The stairwell is disgusting, full of dead bugs and spider webs. Overall I'm incredibly disappointed with what I am experiencing and I will not be renewing my lease. They told us about the high turnover rate in tenants and believe me when I tell you there is a reason for it. This type of negligence is unacceptable.

I seriously advise against renting here. The staff is rude, and they don’t address issues unless the issues directly inconvenience them. There was no smoke detector in our unit, and the unit was filthy when we moved in. I complained about wasps coming into my unit and sitting on door handles and railings at the building entrances, and they sent an exterminator a few days later. At my other apartment, they made sure issues regarding bugs were handled same day. There’s also an issue where the residents are feeding feral cats. Those cats attacked my dogs. The situation was monitored briefly, but the office got annoyed and sent me a rude email that they can’t just ask everyone to leave just because someone is feeding cats. I never suggested evicting anyone. That’s when I decided I’d definitely not be renewing. They also stopped responding to my emails for the remainder of my lease after they sent that email. People also started dumping trash in the wooded area behind the dumpster, and it looks horrible. There’s also a problem with people throwing cigarette butts and bags of dog poop in the front yards. There’s also domestic disputes all the time and they wake me up in the middle of the night. I already don’t get enough sleep with being pregnant. We left a month early, and the person said we would owe March rent but utilities would be waived. We were told the unit looked great when we moved out, and we would be getting our full security deposit back. But when we got our security deposit back, they shorted us $300. When we asked why, they said they withheld the $300 for utilities. Utilities also don’t even cost that much, they were like $95 added to base rent. If you absolutely need to live in camp hill, i recommend Camp Hill Plaza.

BEWARE!!! Do not move into this apartment complex. They don’t clean. They don’t fix anything. They just don’t give a damn. That sentiment comes from the property managers, the maintenance crew, as well as the tenants. Fairmount Park Apartments is an awful place to live. - Inside and outside of the property are not maintained. Be prepared for bugs, dirty floors, broken windows, and dog feces everywhere - watch your step! You’re sure to step in it. - Drive by and take a look at the roofing. You’ll find more shingles on the ground than on top of the building. Plenty of water leaks here! - Beware of the property manager. Tonya is not friendly and does not meet her contractual obligations, ie. raising rent without 30 days notice. - On the subject of raised rent, they increased the monthly amount by $200. Be prepared to only stay here for one year at a locked in rate. - Take a look at the website and notice reference to “luxury” and “amenities”. Fairmount Park is far from luxury. They claim a township park and a dog park as amenities. Yet they just removed the dog park without any notice and are unwilling to provide detail backing their decision. Hey Tonya, get your self together. You should be ashamed of the property you are tasked with managing. The property is a direct representation of your work ethic.

Roaches everywhere, management does not want to work with tenants for site improvements. No accountability for unsafe site conditions. I mean if its your only choice its slightly better than sleeping in your car or a tent...

Worst place to rent from if I could give 0 stars I would my husband and I lived there for 4 years and it was a nightmare between constant sewage problems , dead birds in the storage/ additional laundry room, massive flooding from sewage problems, to maintenance not wanting to fix anything and also just give you old used parts out of the maintenance shed and then turn around and blame their tenants for it not being new looking, mold in the ac units, sewer flys because they refuse to fix any plumbing even after their plumber keeps telling them for years to replace the pipes and we saw the plumber enough times to have some conversations about this place not to mention the illegal wired job they did on the water heater that literally started smoking and caught on fire and all the maintenance had to say was we didn’t install this and asked if we had called the fire department and admitted that it’s not supposed to be hooked up like that and honestly I wish I would have called the fire department because they would have gotten a huge fine for that not to mention the apartment could have burned down we also tried to call the landlord office multiple times after we had a sewage flood so bad that the carpets started to stink and they never answered the phone and bud the maintenance manager actually yelled at us for contacting one of the maintenance guys there directly to try and get stuff fixed and he told us we are not allowed to contact them directly and to go through leasing office well the leasing office never pics up the phone and never in there there was even multiple times that we would stop in to get maintenance or to even give them a rent check and nobody was in the office And it was during business hours The doors were completely closed and locked Not to mention Another issue that we had Was that our sliding door never locked And they ended up replacing the door However, they didn’t even know how to put the lock on properly and it never worked and all the maintained manager bud had to say is these locks won’t keep out an intruder anyway and told us to buy a door stopper which in Pennsylvania it is by law that all doors Must be able to be locked And secured Not to mention All of this On top of the sewage flooding all the time and the electrical fire that we had the amount of stuff That we had to deal with in this place is Ridiculous and not to mention this is considered landlord negligence in the state of Pennsylvania we also had problems Where maintenance was working On a unit above us, that moved out And they were literally throwing full cabinets With nails Closet doors And pieces of hard tile flooring From above the balcony it got to the point To where myself and my neighbors Had to move their car before It got hit And we all Had to watch our animals And children So that they didn’t get hit outside And then After they were done I had to go outside And check the grass out And I’m glad I did Because there was nails and pieces of wood That was left in the grass That somebody’s child or animal could’ve stepped on another issue we had as well Is we called in multiple times Regarding our fridge seal that was not working and our fridge kept staying open And we had asked for A new fridge seal And never received one We had to actually buy a baby lock For the fridge because it would not stay shut And we had already lost a bunch of groceries due to that issue Also, when you move out of this place They will try to charge you for every single thing, even if it’s their fault due to negligence on their part They will also try to charge you For kitchen upgrades Which in PA you are not allowed to charge tenants For any upgrades You’re only allowed to charge them To restore the apartment Back to its normal condition so do not move here It will be the worst mistake you Ever made And I advise anybody who lives there now Start gathering the pics of what your dealing with because I am very glad I have been taking pics Of all of the stuff for four years put it that way

Thinking of move to complex. Met with Aspen. She was thorough and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and even followed up by answering an email I sent to her. Wish me luck. And no, I will make my own conclusions on my stay there but thx for the reviews that I did read.
