I was going to rent a one bedroom unit at this place before the property management, AR Buildings, stated that 1 of my 2 transactions came back as non sufficient funds/wrong account information. AR Buildings accepted the first transaction, a $125 "administrative" fee, but not the $50 "application" fee, stating non sufficient funds, but was later changed to wrong account # (apparently). After about 2-3 weeks of dialogue for the better part of this month (September 2019), they continued to press back on stating I allegedly entered the #'s incorrectly and wanted to charge me a $50 penalty on top of that. I refused, which then of course they wouldn't refund me my $125, stating it's non refundable, even though a situation like this was not covered in the terms and conditions. When I asked for proof, they continued to press me for voided checks when all they had to do was match the transactions. They didn't. They stole my $125 and decided that was more important than the money on an 18 month lease. Lastly, they charge a $140 monthly required ancillary fee for cable/internet/other services that is required, but does not show up on rent within searches. It's a pretty bottom dwelling sales tactic/click bait idea that shouldn't be allowed, as it should say the full rent for interested parties. Finally, all in all, do not rent from Villages of Easton or more importantly, from AR Buildings. There's a reason why the property ratings are very low here. I found out, and sacrificed $125 to do so.

The tenant's office went out of their way to help us with move in. The apartments are very nice as apartments go. We have seen a lot worse for more money and are satisfied with ours. All apartments have issues due to large numbers of people in a relatively small area. Ashley (our tenant rep) and the other staff have been very helpful. We had an electrical issue soon after moving in and they had a staff worker at our door within a few hours and then an electrician after lunch. The problem turned out to be a bad breaker switch and it was repaired the same day. I have seen other complexes take as much as two weeks to get the same service. I have nothing but compliments. You get what you put into it. Act as a community and you become a community. How many of us can say we know the name of our neighbor?

Tons of hidden fees, maintenance puts a bandaid on an issue instead of completely fixing it. The parking is horrible, not enough room and rarely plowed in the winter. Don't follow through on complaints of inappropriate neighbors. Lots of questionable activities going on. Apartments are small and over priced.

The inside of the apartment is very nice and it was easy to fe at home here. When I have had an issue, they have been resolved in a timely manner.

They didn't follow the rules set out in the lease, and I pointed this out in their office many times. I tried to get out of my lease more than once. Neighbors were loud and they would do nothing about it and the walls were thin so I could hear everything on the floor around me. The apartment I was shown looked nothing like the one I got. They showed me a remodeled one but gave me one that wasn't because I had a dog...which I said upfront. Parking was never near my building due to building set up

The apartments were a nice size, with lots of storage space for the price of a one bedroom.
