The building emphasizes cost over resident safety and comfort. The front door has been broken for over a year, the glass portico over the main entrance shattered 18 mos ago and was never replaced. The garage door has been broken and stuck open for 3 weeks allowing anyone to enter the building. The main entryway is disgusting with gobs of gum stuck in the rug and a paint job is desperately needed. Dont live or stay here!

Thanks for your review. We have recently serviced the front door & we are just waiting on special ordered parts to be delivered. Once we receive the order we will repair the door. We are also in the process of replacing the canopy glass. Currently, we are waiting for the parts to be delivered for the garage door, which are scheduled to arrive this week. From the moment I toured 3737 Chestnut, I knew I couldn't live anywhere else. My friends ask me how the transition to Philly has been, and I always reply "I love grad school, but I REALLY love my apartment!" The leasing office and front desk staff have been nothing short of wonderful, and the location is perfect. I can be at work or class in less than ten minutes; Philly is so walkable, and 3737 Chestnut is in an ideal spot. Grad school can be stressful and hectic and overwhelming, and I love that my living situation is anything but. Coming home at the end of a long day of class and work is a relief, and it even makes studying here enjoyable!
