The person in the office was ery friendly , informative,knowledgeable and patient.

I have been calling multiple times a week for the past month inquiring on leases beginning July 1st. Every time someone answers they have said that there is no availability yet and to call back in a couple weeks. I've been calling back multiple times a week, and most of the time it goes to voicemail so I have to leave a voicemail. Finally now in the middle of May, I called and was actually able to speak with someone after no one returned my calls and they said all the leases for July had been filled. I am very disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication from Montclair apartments. I would suggest they have a waitlist for potential tenants to go on. This would at least give people who have been trying to lease a unit some chance. I gave two stars and that is being generous.

Have not heard from Montclair yet regarding stays of apartment I was inquiring about.

This place is a dive. So old and outdated. Air conditioner didn't work, refrig broke down 3 times and lost all my food, still did not replace it. Unless you are really stupid...do not rent here...you will be so sorry! Charged me $1100 fee after moving out for trumped up reasons which you cannot dispute. Feel extremely sorry for the old people that can not afford to move

Good luck with this place.Everything that you need to be fixed they blame on you. They take no responsibility for anything. Jennifer is the bottom of the barrel and a backstabbing low life she is paid off by the slum lords that they are. Mark the head of fixing things is the the bottom of the burial and can not fix anything he is the most uneducated person there is he is a person who will trash the place if you let him into your apartment. I tried to have my apartment sprayed for cockroaches but they would not spay the apartment so I had a company come in and spay cost me 400$ and they did nothing to pay for it the cockroaches are all over the place. Just like the rats going through the trash that neighbours leave out for weeks. So the place is run by Slum lords and the property manager Jenffer the leader of the Slums.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for 3 years and we couldn't be happier to live in this community! The area is quiet, our neighbors are great and our apartment hasn't had any issues that the office and fantastic maintenance guys weren't able to fix. I think they are reasonable in price compared to a lot of other places we were researching before coming here. We especially love the privacy of having our own entrance/front door rather than going through a building with multiple tenants. There's plenty of space for hosting, having the occasional guest sleep over in the spare bedroom and anything else we need.

The reason why it’s so cheap for a 2 bedroom because there requirements are unrealistic I make triple the rent yet They require you to make at least 53,000, no utilities included, no co-signer and it’s outdated. I would look elsewhere.

The pictures are for the nice place across the street. This place is ghetto trash that is making original owners of surrounding homes flee. For sale signs everywhere. The trash that lives here speeds around the streets don't stop at stop signs. They speed by playing children. They throw trash out car windows. Somehow they took my review down. Let people know the truth or fix it.
