Pros: Great location. Great view. Nice apartment layouts. Nice gym for an apartment building. Friendly security and maintenance workers (can't say enough great things about them all!) Cons: SCULLY MANAGEMENT COMPANY. When I first leased my apartment, the building was run by Greystone and the leasing office could not do enough. Now that the time has come to renew my lease or change units they are completely unaccommodating. You would think keeping clean, timely-paying, professional and courteous tenants in the apartment building would be top priority to building a desirable community - but apparently not. Management would rather cater to attracting new tenants than retaining loyal ones. I've never seen an apartment building turn down the opportunity to lease a future unit until now. I have not once complained about the hot water being shut on and off, the HVAC working intermittently, the fire alarm going off time and time again, or the elevators being out of service regularly.In short, if you're a new tenant looking for a short-term solution to housing Tower Place is great as long as you don't plan on being somewhere for more than 13 months. If you're looking for a place that you would eventually like to renew with, don't bother moving your belongings into this building... you'll be moving them out again in 12 months. With all of the brand new construction in the immediate area you are sure to find a property with state-of-the-art amenities without the hassle of having to move (and plenty of leasing specials/discounts). Scully is not eager to lock in existing tenants into future contracts, so look for buildings managed by other companies (Greystone, PMC, etc). Also, Tower Place is far from a "Luxury" apartments if you want one of those check out 1919, Franklin Towers, The Bridge, etc.
