Located in Pittsburgh's Southside neighborhood, the Brew House Lofts (address was formally called 2100 Mary Street) is a new 76 unit apartment building currently undergoing renovation at the site of the former dilapidated Duquesne Brewery. The new studio, one and two bedroom lofts are being constructed with an industrial, artsy style in mind including high ceilings, large windows and modern finishes. Units include a mix of affordable workforce and market rate apartments focused on the artist community. The Brew House includes a large community area, a Gallery, and several studio spaces. The Brew House is an ideal creative live/work environment for a wide range of artists and individuals. Eligible artists will be granted an occupancy preference, but non-artists and art lovers are encouraged and accepted. (Prices are subject to change.) The Brew House contains a number of workforce apartments with lower rents that will be affordable to individuals with eligible income. These workforce apartment rents will range between $260 and $961 and will include utilities. Prospective tenants must provide proof of income in order to qualify for a workforce apartment.
Market rate apartment rents range between $800 and $2,510, depending on size and amenities. Market rate tenants will be responsible for paying electric.
