Stay far away ! They are more about filling up the apartments and getting that rent check in than they are about the people or apartment.

Here is an update on non luxury apartment complex. Nothing has gotten better only worse. There are over 60 units empty which they can not rent even though they put new cabinets and counter tops (the cheapest materials they could get) in. The problems still exist. If you read the websites they are false advertising. There is no gated community (gates have not worked since they have taken over 1 year ago). There is no tanning bed nor a clubhouse that you can go to unless it is 9 to 5 closed on weekends. States that some utilities are included which is a lie. You will pay for all utilities gas, water, sewage, electric. The up keep of the buildings have gotten worse, hallways are not swept, laundry rooms are dirty and washers are disgusting. Walls have mold on them due to water leaking, door knobs are missing making it hard to get into areas. The car care center consists of a vac and a hose. All the things they tell you why it is so great to live here. If you think the office staff is nice, think again. They never answer the phone or return your call if you leave a message. They can tell you how great it is to live here but that is another one of their lies. If you want to pay this much in rent, find a place that is worth it. Might be close to downtown, but if you do not have a car you can not go anywhere unless you want to walk half a mile down the hill. Another thing, when it snows they do not start cleaning the road till around 8:30 in the morning. So if you leave earlier your on your own. Oh but they give you a bucket of salt inside your building if you need to use it. Just please beware of renting from Hudson Properties they are out to make money and not give a crap about you. My last comment is check out RealPage.com (which they use) and you will see that the company has multiple law suits against them for over charging tenants with rent and utilities. I hope this gave you some insight on this apartment complex and have a wonderful day. :)

Some highlights from move-in. We received the wrong keys to the building, the apartment itself AND the mailbox. We still don't have fobs to the front gate so we're essentially on an 8pm curfew lest we get locked out and need to walk a quarter mile uphill to our building (learned that lesson the hard way). There was a kitchen sink leak dripping directly into an electrical box. And in total (so far) maintenance people have spent 8 hours across 4 days working on our toilet (you pay for water at this place by the way so all of those test flushes are money directly out of our pocket lol) Again, this appears to have been a fine apartment that's been mismanaged into a straight up slum. One pro is that the management constantly shutting off an entire buildings water without any warning brings a sense of excitement to living here. $75 monthly trash and sewage fee. (From my experience only the shadiest of slums make tenants pay for sewage) But the kicker is theres no garbage pickup. Youre paying $75 a month for the pleasure of hauling your own garbage to an on-site trash compactor 3 times a week. This is beyond your general run of the mill bad apartment management. This is an actual hazard lol

I would not rent from this place. Since Hudson Companies has taken over, this place has severely gone downhill. Depending on the week is how much you will pay in rent. In a span of 2 weeks, different tenants are getting lease renewals for different prices for the same exact size units, up to $100 difference. The utilities now are being charged based on the size of your unit and the amount of tenants and not actual usage. Gas bills for March-April, when It was pretty warm out, are at least $80, and that's the lowest. Most people are now over $100. Add the other bogus fees in, and what you see if NOT what you will pay. The office management will brush you off and treat you like garbage. They dont care what you have to say. This is supposed to be a "gated" community and the gates haven't been down in almost 2 months. I would run away from this place. There is much better out there for the price they are charging.

Recently purchased by a new company, Hudson Group. They are scamming residents with our gas bills. The previous owners gave us accurate bills based off our our usage. This company is charging us based off square footage of the unit and the number of occupants. Our gas bill in the winter at its highest was $100. For the month of March, with the new owners it is $272!!! Im just waiting for them to do the same with water/sewage. Stay away at all costs. They will put your in the poor house with increased rent and fake utility bills.

Do people really know that their rent is going up around 300%. They want to make this a luxury place to live. They think by putting in new cabinets and counter tops that makes it luxury. These buildings are over 50 years old and need a lot of work, from leaking pipes to poor drainage from the roof causing mold on the walls. The laundry rooms are filthy dirty and washers out dated. Front entry doors slam shut and rattle the walls. Your apartment door and walls are so thin you hear everything. Air conditioners are out dated and don't keep the apartment cool in the summer and the furnace is out dated and never checked in the fall to make sure it is working properly. They only change the filter once a year if that. Now they want you to start paying for water and sewage. How much water do they know I use or how often I flush the toilet. They claim you have a luxury club house, gated community, exercise room (remodeled, only put grass carpet in it and very small), a small swimming pool. The gates have been opened which anyone can come in, so not a gated community. All of these things add up to a $300.00 increase in your rent per month. Probably half the people that have lived here for years have no clue what is going on with this place. This company is out to make money and not care about people. Beware this is NOT a place that you want to live or call home. If your going to pay this much for rent go find a place that is worth it. Anything owned by Hudson Properties is not good for renting and you should stay clear of them. The only thing they want to do is fee you for everything and more less tell you how to live.
