White Oaks

You can hear everything in these buildings. Plumbing is horrible and the management company wont actually pay to get it fixed right. Maintenance is horrible also, they rarely ever actually fix anything. The office wont actually do anything about noise issues after hours except tell you to call the police, even though it specifically states in the lease no loud noise after 10pm. Probably one of the only reasons I wont rate it less than I am is because of the pool.

It was quiet, not a lot of noise which was nice

Location - Close to market and business , Safe - neighborhood & Service - No hassle prompt maintenance .. These are the three things I feel, one must look for before moving in. White Oaks stands Out in all those. Despite being 10/10 in these three it is not very costly either. Great!

Ceilings and floors were not noise proof and we had a very tough time dealing with neighbors who refused to turn music/tv down. Management only offered assistance during 9-5 and suggested calling police if it was after hours.

I just moved to this site. I gave the first month's rent and deposit as a check. However, I saw from my own bank account that the money could not be withdrawn due to a technical problem. Between the 1st and 5th of the month. Immediately adjusts site management. I told you the situation. I said I could issue a new check on the same day. But the management told me to wait. Two weeks later they said I had to pay a $50 fine. It wasn't my fault. But I had to pay. They are not understanding. I am writing these to warn apartment residents and new arrivals. Don't trust too much.

Long story short you get what you pay for, outdated small living spaces at a low price. However, I do not recommend living here. First, Maintenance is somewhat slow, but that's not the main issue. The apartment complex has 2 maintenance men. However, sometime last year a maintenance man, Ron "retired effective immediately". But the new maintenance man Eddie informed us Ron did not retire, he was fired. For taking photos of young female tenants without their permission. The apartment complex never addressed the issue, and instead brushed it under the rug. Second, plumbing is absolutely awful. You'll be lucky if you take a shower and run the dishwasher without an inch of water in your bathroom. Our dishwasher drain pipe was not hooked up properly, instead it was left hanging over a broken PVC pipe drain and was never addressed or fixed. Leading to pooling water under our cabinets, and probably mold. Lastly, the lack of amenities.Sure there's a pool. But for the 3 years I have lived here. 1 season, was the pool actually open. They tell you that raises in your lease year over year are for "apartment upgrades and to support amenities" But the only upgrades we saw were a $15 shower head. For the price, you can get better, more updated spaces.

Very clean beautiful apartments. The Manager Alissa pretends to be nice, but we have discovered she's a huge racist. Don't let her fake smile fool you.

I was up set because my lease was changed without my knowledge. They assumed just because I moved here in January that I would rather move in the summer time. Which wasnt true because I was ready to move out that next January. And they changed my my lease for July. Which I only had a few days to sign it. They didnt give me time think about where I could move or anything. I know it's not legal to change anyone's lease without speaking with them first. So I'm really mad about that because I'm ready to move. The girl above is very rude and ignorant. She lives above someone she should know how to be quiet. Never lived around such devilish people in my life.
