Reserve at Spring Pointe

I love the apartment BUT. Before you move in, check closely to be sure it has been cleaned. My apartment has fresh paint and new carpet so on cursory inspection it looked good. Then I started attempting to put things away.Both showers were filthy requiring each to be scrubbed 4 times before the dirt and scum came off. I found old food, mold, old plastic bags and old kitchen utensils in the kitchen cupboards. There were crumbs and old food on the stove plates(under the burners). Something that looked like mold in the dishwasher. I moved in on Friday so by the time I began finding these things the office was closed for the weekend. Monday morning the manager asked "How can we make it up to you?" All of the cleaning was done by then.They did replace dishwasher racks and stove plates. And came back and cleaned the kitchen floor. I appreciate the effort but all of this should have been done before I moved in.I just pulled the softener cup out of the washer and found mold in there!!!!!I am hoping things get better before they get worse. I have heard from a former employee of Metropolitan that the company does everything they can to not return deposits. I also hope that policy changes.

I thought the apartment would be much more soundproof. Everyone seems respectful and like good people, however you can hear entire normal conversations and TV noise through the floors.

Was drawn to the Reserve because of the fact it was a newly built complex and after comparing it to others in the area the overall appearance and quality of the rooms was worth it,

Disappointed the wood floors are not real; disappointed in the quality of the stove/oven and dishwasher. The tiles in the small bathroom had chips/pieces out when we took our inspection tour and we were promised they would be replaced, we moved in March and this has not been taken care of

The young lady who takes care of rentals is very friendly and responsive to tenants needs. The maintenance staff has been quick to respond to requests. The apartments are modern and spacious.
