The Lofts @ Narrow

Toured the property with the property manager, absolutely loved the Lofts! I wasnt expecting how spacious and open the apartment would be, it was perfect. Seriously hoping to get into the lofts once something becomes available. Originally not from the area, however the location is perfect and convenient!!

Property is gorgeous. Just moved in my daughter in a couple of months and I couldnt be happier for her and her husband. Super convenient and close to work (reading hospital) and the community is lovely.

Love the community here at the Lofts. Absolutely love my apartment and view of the city. Property manager very responsive and kind.

The potential of this property is wonderful-the reality is below sub-par. We were one of the first tenants to move in. We were so excited to move into such a fabulous concept in our own Berks County. Spoiler alert - the living experience here is the worst EVER. When we signed our lease we were told: there will be a fenced in dog park, 3 entertainment decks on the front of the building for reseident use, rooftop entertainment area with pool, grills, and furniture. We were also sold on the high end finishes and luxury. Where should I begin? The key we were given for the unit didnt work ! And it took almost 5 days (yes 5 days) that we could not access our own unit. Our unit which is on the top floor has been without air conditioning 2 times lasting multiple days. Also our floor surface has been peeling since we moved in and we have reported that multiple times - nothing fixed. We picked a unit with a balcony however the balcony doesnt drain and water pools. Weve reported this to no avail! So we have a balcony that we either need to mop up after each rain or we cant use it. Again luxury, hah! Yes, weve reported it and no fix as of yet.What else-the 1 elevator for 3 floors of apartments has broken 4 - 6 times and service doesnt get repaired for sometimes days on end. The dog park -doesnt exist. The grills - never materialized. The pool for the first month or so was so filthy and not maintained to the point that I wouldnt stick my big toe in the water for fear of catching something. The restroom at the pool area for more than a month had no water and no toilet paper.I forgot to mention that of the 3 entertainment tiers promised 1 finally has furniture-the other two still dont! For the record -its now September and the entire summer passed before even one tier was operable. DONT MOVE HERE! RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. I WOULDNT WISH THIS AWFUL LIVING EXPERIENCE ON MY WORST ENEMY.
