The 12-story Union Trust Co. building was built in 1901 and 1902, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. At the time of its completion, it was among the tallest buildings in New England. In keeping to the historic nature of the building and exemplifying the Providence G brand, the G Reserve will maintain the historic charm of the buildings while and paying homage to the "high status" of the buildings past with modern upscale apartments and amenities.
