An historic building in a historic neighborhood...well-maintained with handsome lobby and nice grounds. Staff was responsive and friendly. Maintenance was helpful and efficient. Negatives: door slamming, children yelling/running through hallways, stairways could use a painting, and indoor/outdoor carpeting on stairways. The rust in the water was peculiar. Differing policies on assigned parking made it unpleasant. Recommendation: do NOT allow a restaurant below residences--noisy, unpleasant.
