Friendly office staff, quick responding maintenance, good landscaping, nice pool and tennis court. Apartments Read Moreare clean but building is a bit older. Great location.

Apartment has been very musty and retains lots of moisture ever since we moved in. Air contitioner has broken Read Moremultiple times (all documented) and management only provided cheap temporary fixes instead of fixing the actual problem. Sometimes we go days without proper a/c

We are so sorry to hear about the concerns you have regarding your home. We fulfill maintenance requests in the order in which they are received, but if it is still not working you can always give us a call. If the repairs are not to your expectation, please come by the leasing office to address this concern.
For majority of the time I lived at Janes Towne Village there was no maintenance man. They kept hiring people Read Morewho'd quit, all the while my air conditioning kept breaking. My ac unit kept leaking in to my house and it caused mildew and mold to grow in my hallway. It effected everyone in my household. Even my dog. I continuously brought that up just for the property manager to avoid fixing it. By the end of my lease my dogs skin was itched raw and I'd developed some scary side effects from the mold.
That's not the only issue. Upon moving in my across the hall neighbors and I noticed our apartments were infested with roaches and we hadn't even moved in all the way yet. They weren't consistent with how much they sprayed for bugs. There was a gap between the top of my door and the bottom that made it easy for critters to come in. I brought that up to the on sight maintenance man they had (for a few short months) at the time and he didn't fix it. I brought it to the property managers attention months later, she made an order for it (after trying to tell me that maybe it was my fault when my house was like that before I moved in) and the guy who was supposed to fix my door never showed.
The old maintenance man they had used to hit on me and the other ones NEVER knocked before entry. They walked in on my roommate in his robe a few times. The people they hired to fix anything were unprofessional.
OH, let me not forget my dogs also been attacked there a few times. They have an aggressive breed list that no one follows. I took Mason to the dog park one time and two pit bulls went at him like he was a bait dog. When I told my property manager that she played aloof. I described the mans dogs in detail.. and hey if you don't know the dogs to their owners are you even doing a good job? I'm not sure if she even payed attention to the types of dogs in the complex. Mason ALSO got attacked by the dog across the hall. If you're thinking about living here, don't.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our records show that the unit in your home was fixed within a few days. We fulfill maintenance requests in the order in which they are received so we apologize if you felt like this took longer than you were expecting. Regarding pest in your home, we have steps to address this issue, however, since we were not able to go inside your home we were unable to resolve this issue for you. We have not been notified of any issues regarding pet policy.
The staff at the office are great. They are always eager to help with any problems that arise. The location is Read More great, right in the middle of downtown, the beach, a ton of supermarkets and restaurants. Couldn't ask for a better spot.
