Waterleaf at Murrells Inlet

Consider these before making this your next home. Revolving door of property mgrs.and staff. Consistent poor communication. Property appearance steadily declining and no improvements made. ZERO preventative maintenance perfromed on apartments. Dimly lit and very dark areas in parking lots and sidewalks around the buildings. No security cameras on property. Mgmt company runs airbnb units and allows full amenity access. Not disclosed to residents. Non-resident locals use our two entrances as a pass through to avoid highways. The list goes on. NHE, the managing company, is one I would steer clear of.

(1) Rent is overpriced (2) Apartment is small, bedrooms are too small, small closet space, the living room and kitchen is one not very big room, nothing about this place is spacious or roomy. (3) Bathrooms are ok. (4) Ok dog park (5) Car wash is good but floods (6) No Smoking (7) No BBQ'ing on your little porch (8) Garages are $170 per month, and you can barley squeeze you car into it. (9) I need to drive to dump my garbage and walk to get my mail and packages. (10) No reserved parking spaces and the pool is tiny. I've lived here 1 year and pay almost $1600 for a 3 bedroom. The same apartment is $1000 in many other locations. I can hear every bump boom bang from my upstairs neighbors, it's ridiculous and reduces your quality of life. This place is not a spacious luxury apartment but rather a small overpriced ordinary apartment complex with fixtures from Home Depot. Look closely before choosing this often depressing place.

I love, love, love my brand new spacious apartment!!! I moved in last month and I'm so comfortable. After selling my house outside Nashville in 2017 - I started beach hopping in Florida and didn't love it or the places I rented. I finally found the village and apartment near the beach that I have been looking for. The girls in the office Summer, Courtney and Bridgette are so kind, welcoming and easy going that it made my decision to rent here very simple. They get 5+ stars!!! The units are beautiful and I can't wait for warmer weather to hang out by the gorgeous pool. So many amenities besides the saltwater pool! Poolside grilling station, firepit, lounge in the Clubhouse is beautiful, a fitness center, dog park with a dog wash station, bike and kayak barn, car wash, putting green, and they offer private garages and storage units. There are picnic tables and hammocks scattered throughout complex too. Waterleaf is by far the best place I looked at and I started in Little River SC and looked at alot of places in the 38 mile area in between. If you are looking , I highly recommend Waterleaf at Murrells Inlet. #itswhereilive
