Brookstone could improve by hiring competent workers and management who don't lie to cover the behind of their baseless workers. Office staff (Marley!) who literally has you waiting over a month to do a transfer then tell you you will be receiving a walk through on a Friday. When in actuality the Property Manager who knew nothing of the walk through happening. Quoted from (Mahogany)! Then a property manager who calls you and wants you to sign a lease that is incorrect and acts like she is doing you a favor saying she came in on her day off! Then tries to get you to sign it over the phone, she apparently gets off in 30 mins. Not my problem! Then you receive a call back that before you move you have a carpet fee you have to pay! HMMM the same carpet fee that the same baseless employee Marley stated, and I quote "oh no don't worry about the carpet, we take that up anyway". Then the property manager wants to get on three way with you and Marley to see if she said so. Of course, she says I don't remember saying that. Asked her why was my carpet not cleaned when I renewed my lease the year before (because this is something they offer which I found out from another tenant). She says we offer it and y'all have to ask. How am I going to ask you about something I have no knowledge of. I had to go by this office 3 times and call numerous times for Mahogany to finally come by and do the walk through, and then you want to rush me to sign a lease. A transfer that shouldn't have taken over a month, meanwhile this is before my lease is about end so I literally had no where to go the week of my lease ending because of this slack office. As a result, I left this poor excuse of a apartment complex and I am glad I did. The office was so much better before this new batch of workers they have. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX AGAIN, WHILE THEY ARE UNDER THE SAME MANAGEMENT.
