    It was a great place to live with the former Property Manager, who was force to leave a few years ago. She was stern, but fair. Stoney Creek was the 1# Premium apt in the Black Hills. The new Property Manager came in and started raising long term residents rent EVERY year. She is all about squeezing every dime she can out of every resident, even long time ones. She also started allowing dogs the size of small horses, so there is large piles of dog feces everywhere (against the rules), except around the office, of course. She also almost doubled the pet rent even for toy/tiny dogs. The Property Manager ignores all communication. The hot tub is down, no hurry to fix or to notify residents. Broken down or months of storing cars are ok with the part time Property Manager, even though it is against the rules. The pool gets locked up on Labor Day, without and notification, reason or apology. The young leasing agents are nice, but they have a hard time keeping any of them over six months, due to working conditions. The Chief of Maintenance and his crew are excellentthey keep the wheels from coming off. You put in a request and they are on it. Schools are nice, however, incredibly overcrowded and getting worse. We loved the rolling hills, trees and the wildlife. However now, the city encroachment, management cramming many more garages (Which can only accommodate a compact to intermediate vehicle) and (A lot less parking spaces) in and consistent price hikes now makes Stoney Creek a place to avoid.

    No one is picking up after their dogs. I see workers out picking it up almost everyday. There are also some that never put their dogs on leashes. My fear is that one will hurt my dog because the dogs without leashes can't be as easily controlled.

    Their 60 day notice is a little excessive, especially for the amount of military personnel.

    The Manager was a beautiful and kind person that would help in any way she could and resolve any issues that came up. I am still very disgusted with the way the corp. forced me to pay the entire 6 month lease when my work contract was terminated because the project was closed after only 3 months. I would NOT lease another unit with this owner.
