I called the Hickory Highlands Apartments to hear their rent prices, and was quoted a resonable price over the Read More phone for a one bedroom. We made an appointment to schedule a tour and took time off work to go, only to find out that they had LIED to us about the price! We even listened to the phone call recording with the manager, and she told us that the apartments were not the price that the lady on the phone told us. The manager was very apathetic, and did not even apologize for lying and wasting our time. If this is how the Hickory Highlands treat potential leasors, I would hate to see how they treat their residents.

This is one of the worst apartment complexes to live in. I lived here for a year and had issues from the time Read MoreI moved in til the time I moved out. I moved out over 2 months ago and still haven't received my deposit back. I've gone to the office twice and Alicia, the manager is never there, and apparently, is the only person that can help me. I've called several times and no response or call backs. It's so frustrating when you've done everything you could and still nothing. I left the apartment super clean, all they had to do was spot paint. Also, the renovated apartments are NOT high quality. They did a really bad, lazy job. the best part about my renovated apartment, were the floors, that's it. Word of advice, Steer clear of this place.

I live here now and I am looking to move I've had the same maintenance issues since I moved in last year . And Read More now they want to raise my rent but still have not fixed any of my issues. I stated to them I will not renew my lease unless the maintenance issues are fixed. They have the maintenance man come in, they do not do anything they do a duck tape sort of job, unacceptable for the prices they charge.

My bushes were not trimmed on regular basis and had lots of spiders. I don't like spiders. Balcony door was ja Read Moremmed shut which causes me to not enjoy the gardening I had in mind to do upon signing the lease and reduced the amount of square footage available to and I was still paying the same amount.

While the rent is cheap I will not be staying after my lease expires. I was promised a mid level 1bd room so l Read Moreike 673sqft. I was given the smallest apartment and a uh sorry no effort to fix unless I would pay $500 to transfer units. I've had ongoing maintenance issues since I've moved in. The back door doesn't fit the doorframe so there is about an inch opening near the threshold and when warmer bugs(centipedes, spiders, etc) we're getting in and once gets warmer will have same issue
