I've never lived in an apartment community like this. The maintenance and care for property is wonderful, staf Read Moref is so friendly, the community that is facilitated by the southwinds team feels authentic, fun and intentional. I have yet to have anyone i've told about this place actually move in just yet, but i've recommended it about a million times because i think it's such a gem.

This is one of my absolute, if not the top experiences I've had at an apartment complex. They didnt try to che Read Moreat me out of extra money when I left, they responded to issues quickly, and they were pleasant people in general. I dont know if its owned by the same company as a year ago, but 2009-2012 was fantastic. It also was only around $950 a month for us and a dog fee then so that is what I am basing my value for money on. $950 a month 2 bedroom. I know they raised their price though.

Been living here for almost a year and have been so happy and feel very safe at Southwind. The rent seems hig Read Moreh but the amenities make it worth it and are incredible to me. We have an indoor pool and hot tub which are great during the cold weather and a beautiful outdoor pool for the warm/hot weather. They have maintained it so well. You have to come and see all there is to offer. Parking is good but of course there will be problems occasionally. Most all of the employees are very outgoing and so proactive to resolve any problem that might crop up. It is time for us to renew and I am struggling with committing to another whole year since we plan to retire and move south next year. High price for an old and cheaply built apartment. They are constantly under construction, letting themselves Read More into your apartment without your approval and with no landlord supervision. There is very little parking and the landlord/management company refuses to fix the issue or provide cheaper rent.

Thank you for posting your review. We're empathetic with the few discomforts you had during the past year's projects. We felt strongly that being proactive and upgrading the property before residents experienced issues would be a better action plan than waiting. Many of the improvements also reduced energy expenses and water savings which will help keep the cost of utilities down for our residents. The vast majority of our residents appreciated the improvements made to their home. SouthWind Mgmt
Thank you for your patience during last year's construction. Rather than waiting a few more years before maintenance issue would start, we wanted to be proactive and went ahead to replace roofs, windows, doors and AC units. These improvements have already helped reduce our resident's utility expenses. SouthWind Management
