The Grove Germantown

The windows are poorly sealed so dirt and noise enter the apartment readily. The walls are thin - I hear my neighbors shouting frequently. The manager is extremely rude and acts as if she has more important things to do than help you. Several of my neighbors have had maintenance issues, some of which still have not been addressed. The mosquitos are horrific - the ponds probably need treated for them. From the recent construction there have been loose nails in the parking lot. I know two people who have gotten flat tires from them. Also, the recent construction was done very sloppily and there is paint drips and smears all over the landings. The office staff in general are not very helpful when you have a problem. Recently, when my air conditioning was out, I had to wait for hours to get it fixed and it was almost 100 degrees in my apartment. My tub in the bathroom looks like an old beat up bathtub. Also, the seals around the sink and tub look like someone didn't know what they were doing. Also, the carpet has pain chunks and the walls have scuff marks that were there when I moved in. The recent cleaning of the chimney and dryer was done when I was at work and there was a lot of dust around the hearth that wasn't there before.

I had an issue with bugs in the first apartment I rented. I voiced my concern to management and was given the opportunity to move into a different unit. I was pleased with the way management worked with me during this stressful situation. I have been pleased with my stay at this property since then.

They do a good job with maintenance and keeping the common areas real nice.

Very clean grounds that are well maintained. Friendly Staff. Amazing location with shopping, and outdoor activities so close!
